It's less sickly sweet than Fantasy (version from 2019), maybe is smells more like the 2005 version? She smells absolutely stunning from the nozzle and when I spray her in the air, but on my skin she’s like “uh . I tested this earlier this morning (it's now at chemist warehouse for the Aussies) and I am irrationally annoyed at how unimpressive this is. I am disappointed because I was expecting a significant patchouli twist (which could have been cool imo) -- not the case!

The perfume itself upon first spray is very 'woody, spicy and musky' which floats beautifully and then the fantasy DNA with the white chocolate develops underneath it.As with all celebrity marketing, sales will be most influenced initially by the fame of the person whose name is on the bottle. They did a great job making this a more grown up version of the original Fantasy while still pleasing the fans of the original and still keeping it youthful. This isn't necessarily a bad thing for me, however I can see why other reviews are pointing this out as a bad thing.

That’s exactly what’s happened with Midnight Fantasy, Britney Spears’ fourth fragrance release and one of the best-selling fragrances in her collection. I would love it to smell like the notes listed, more cherry plum with sugar, and flowers in background. Rainbow Fantasy turned out to be a pleasant surprise and for the first time in a long time, I can see myself potentially adding another Britney Spears fragrance to my collection. The listed jasmine is the only floral I feel confident in naming - well I do pick up on the chocolaty scent of the orchid, but Fantasy Intense does also contain a separate chocolate note, so I'm not confident in stating where one note ends and another begins. This smells very similar to Midnight Fantasy but it has some other fruits in it too, I can smell kiwifruit even though it isn't listed. The patchouli is too harsh for the delicate girly notes of OG Fantasy, and on my skin it had a menthol sort of vibe to it. This fragrance is perfect for nights out in winter as it is quite strong and would smell absolutely delicious in the cold. The lily and plum on this is the stand out and it's berries and iris with a sour note that that's the stand out in midnight.

I think it’s great for someone who is just getting their first or second perfume and are in their teens. com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission. I remember when the original came out and everyone in the clubs in Los Angeles smelled like Fantasy, Hanae Mori or Miss Dior Cherie, occasionally a rock chick who smelled like CK Euphoria thrown into the mix. Upon first impressions, this scent was extremely reminiscent of the original Fantasy, only a bit more bold instead of syrupy.

Fragrantica lists the notes as vanilla and sugar in the base, but I'm pretty sure when this came out the actual note was Vanilla Beignet. When looking at it sitting on my dressing table with no direct sunlight it just appears overall very ‘pink’; however if you hold it up to the light and move it around you can see the rainbow colours. even after the dry down i still think its a dupe, with maybe a light warm sweetness instead of sour sweet. Sometimes flankers meant as sideline variations on a fragrance, become more popular than the original scent. The ingredients in this are far superior to the horrible reformulated fantasy, it is a sin in the fragrance world considering how beautiful the first releases were (plus it's hard to find fresh bottles now of the pre-reformulated version).

They all have that cotton candy sticky sweet smell but rainbow does it better by being an EDT simply because it’s watered down with dewy sweet scents over it.The Britney Spears range follows this tried and true formula and the perfumes have been produced by perfume industry veterans who have created some of the top designer and celebrity fragrances on the market. It was the middle of summer in southern California, and I thought the main accords of "citrus, green, aromatic, fresh" would be balanced well with the sweet notes that I usually crave. If you like fruity patchouli I recommend you wear this on clothes because it keeps that scent for a very long time. Much like Britney herself, they combine sweetness and innocence with something a bit more sultry and sexy. The fruit isn't as overpowering in it's sweetness as I find the original Fantasy can turn if over-applied thanks to the addition of the pear; it's surprising how such a tiny difference between the two Fantasy versions, really makes a difference.
