It is like extracting the basic essence of the perfume notes (although it is missing the minty-fresh note that I smell in NRFH...and has replaced that note with more of a powdery type note).

This is more of a linear perfume, it doesn't transition or morph into different fragrance notes during the transitions from first spray to final dry down. The benefit of linear, this is a great fragrance for layering other perfumes that need just a little bit of oomph - or the added note of musk. It opens with soft citruses and woody (rosewood) notes, with a touch of lavender, which is not at all sharp. The fragrance develops further with notes of apple martini, paperwhites (narcissus), and orchid. The base unites white amber, cedar, woody note,s and white musk. These are different, but they have a very similar vibe with musk & MiddleEastern leaning florals. Lovely is similar to a cross between NRFH-EDP and NRFH-EDT, but has the lavender up top. The drydown turns into a a musky floral... pleasant, to be sure. I can detect a hint of patchouli, but it's not overwhelming or overpowering; it's just there to anchor the fragrance, and it never takes center stage. As the fragrance fades, it turns a bit powdery, but not obnoxiously so. My only complaint (and the reason I've rated it as a like instead of love) is that the staying power isn't as good as I remember. It feels like this might have been reformulated over the years and the performance is weaker than I would like. There's not a lot of sillage (if you want it for a work fragrance, this isn't a bad thing necessarily) and it does require topping up through the day. Everything about this fragrance is in absolute harmony: tha name, the bottle, the advertising!!! And the price is a great harmony for our wallet. For this price i can bath in it, but i don´t have to. I really Admire Sarah and I have to put it to her the way she creates her fragrances she works closely with the perfumers and know what she likes. I know the oils and perfumes she used to mix before making Lovely smelled more like her 2016 release Stash (one of the best perfumes PERIOD) and that she wanted a unisex type of smell and Lovely is a bit more polite than what she usually would dose herself in, but this to me is completely unisex. As I said it smells like clean warm salty skin with that cosy musk vibe that I think anyone can pull off if they wish to.I immediately see her wearing the tulle ballerina tutu like dress that was just a puff of soft ballet pink. It’s a clean warm salty skin scent that I love and it wafts around me for hours and is so comforting, I even wear this to bed some times as it’s lavender musky combination is so relaxing and cosy.
