Description

Staplers are essential parts of your stationery cupboard. And if you have a stapler, you need staples too. At Bokser Home, we don’t believe that you should have to pay a luxury price or sacrifice quality to have the very best sheets, so that’s why we use long staple cotton exclusively in our production. Use this method to staple thin booklets. This method requires no specialized materials, but it is only suitable for thin booklets made from a few sheets of paper. Your stapler needs to be powerful enough to deploy a staple through the booklet when there is no supporting surface behind it, so do not use a stapler that is rusty or jams easily. If you’re outside of England, Scotland and Wales, your delivery prices may change a little. See our complete Delivery Policy here for more information.

Fabrics made with long staple cotton tend to feel luxurious and also stay that way for longer. It contributes to the fabric strength, so sheets made with long staple cotton tend to fray less, get less wrinkly, and even hold the fabric dye better (so less fading over time). The quality of your stapler and staples matters. Low quality can break easily and not have enough power to push staples through different materials. That's why high quality is important. wikiHow is a “wiki,” similar to Wikipedia, which means that many of our articles are co-written by multiple authors. To create this article, 25 people, some anonymous, worked to edit and improve it over time. Long staple cotton yields extraordinary long, silky fibers, and is known for its superior strength and uniformity. Long staple cotton is the best for weaving high quality bed linen fabrics, and it is what we at Bokser Home use to manufacture all of our sateen and percale sheets and duvets. To cut costs, many sheets on the market are produced using short-staple cottons, or cotton blends. The price of these sheets may look attractive, but what the consumer gets in the end is a sheet that is not as comfortable, has a shorter lifespan, and overall just not the quality of sheets we think you should own. Long staple cotton is grown in limited quantities and, according to the International Trade Center, currently represents about 3% of global cotton production Centerline staplers are sometimes referred to as booklet staplers or long reach staplers. A good sheet should feel soft and smooth to the hand and be associated with words like lustrous, plush, natural, soothing, and strong. The calibrated adjustable paper guide/margin adjustor allows you to ensure that you are stapling correctly and neatly every time. With 6mm staples this stapler has a capacity of 20 sheets and with 8mm staples it has a capacity of 50 sheets, so you can easily staple lots of documents together easily. Put down a layer of corrugated cardboard or other protective material. This method involves stapling your booklet against a soft material, then manually pushing the staples down against the booklet. You may use corrugated cardboard, foam, or any other material soft enough for the staples to dig into without attaching. Only use material you don't mind damaging. If you have a large number of booklets to staple, you'll probably prefer the Specialized Stapler method. Lift the booklet carefully and inspect the staple. Most likely, the staple is partially attached to the cardboard beneath. Lifting the booklet slowly and gently should pull the two prongs of the staple out of the cardboard, but you may need to bend the staple straight with your finger before pulling.
