Lana is badass, she takes no shit and she looks out for her people but she was a little frustrating as she constantly drew her own conclusions instead of listening to them. she’s definitely one of my top fave fictional kids in a romance book (rivalling Jeremy Volkov and Lucy).

Now she’s stuck in town with no car, no job, and no home with an 11-year-old niece she didn't know about to take care of.After submitting a drunk proposal criticizing Dreamland’s most expensive ride, I should have been fired. He did hurt her, in no way do I want to minimise that, however, there had been miscommunication an he (in the moment of their breakup) needed professional help much more than his relationship with Lana. If you have read the rest of the series, please read this because it's a beautiful and heartfelt ending. i really thought it would end up my favorite book of the series cuz it was a solid 4 star book, but the more i read the more boring it got. So many times, I see ppl speak out when it's not done well that I wanted to make a point of applauding the author here bc I was so happy to see it done with such care.

nov 29: put this on hold for a bit since I cant stand Alana and her judgmental ass towards addiction, maybe the hold will be 1 day or 2 months.She's shown her humanity in many different ways throughout this book, especially in insecurities she had. At every minor inconvenience, she blames it on his addiction and uses and abuses Cal emotionally to get her way, throughout the book.
