This is the fifth book by Tessa Bailey I've read, and I've loved them all. You'd think by this point, her stories would start to feel old and stale, but no. Each of her books feels unique, with its interesting characters and fun storylines. They just draw me in and I'm always riveted. No he does not pine after his dead wife, thank lord. His actions are more out of obligation than emotion

Overall: perfect chemistry, so smart, so humorous, so entertaining, so heartfelt! Giving my ship ahoy, millions of likes, five blazing poshy stars! But her romantic life fails a little bit: she never has a relationship lasts longer than three weeks. Her last boyfriend dumbs her before things are getting boring for them, telling her she’s an airhead without any life purpose and there’s nothing special about her! She’s just one of the thousands!!!( Yes, he’s a total A.hole, I wish Pipes could see that before) Tools of Engagement by Tessa Bailey deserves ALL the stars! I loved it so much, I didn't want it to end.VERY HOTTTT. My first Tessa bailey book and if her other books are like this?? You bet your ass I’m gonna read them.

It’s easy to dismiss someone like Piper, she's very much painted as an airhead, who indulges in the frivolities and luxuries of life but also chooses to use that as a coverup. Turns out there’s another issue Stella has to deal with, she has a creepy stalker. Fortunately, Christian is prepared to protect her at all costs when he realizes he cannot stay away from her. Is Twisted Lies A Spicy Book?There’s age gap and while not full on enemies to lovers there’s definitely a lot of contention between these two in the beginning of their story that fuels a fire between them. Wes is observant and wise beyond his years given his upbringing. He sees through Bethany and gets under her skin in a way she isn’t sure she loves at first! ⁣ I've been sitting with my thoughts on It Happened One Summer for a few days now because I loved it so much, I wasn't in the mood to explain why. ( Do you ever feel that pressure as a reviewer? Like sometimes you just don't want to justify your enjoyment...you just want to sit in a pleasant bubble of swoony comfort and joy as long as you can? Or is that just me? 😍) Now she -an impulsive party girl- is stranded with a huge, bearded fisherman obsessed with routine and constant brooding, in a town full of people so unlike her usual crowd. Esta novela tiene un inicio engañoso porque todo realmente parece un chic-lit por el lenguaje, las personalidades y los eventos hasta que llegas a un punto donde es así de “ok…okay….oookay, esto es un romance romance” y una vez que llegas ahí se vuelve evidente que esta novela es básicamente un romance más del montón donde la principal es el personaje virginal que es súper única y el sujeto es el típico mujeriego con algo de dinero y fama que es todo un macho alfa, y que, aunque se ha acostado con la mitad de las mujeres, cree que nadie es mejor en la cama que chica principal. O sea realmente es una novela más de romance.If nothing else, Tessa Bailey's books are so so so easy to read and enjoy. Which is also to say that I enjoyed this! I enjoyed Wes and Bethany. I liked their story, I like their romance, I REALLY liked Wes's niece. It wasn't spectacular though, I wasn't blown away. She writhed underneath him, trying to find the bottom of the pleasure well, but until his mouth landed on hers, anchoring her, she didn't realize... didn't realize the bottom of the well wasn't physical. She needed their emotional connection to calm herself down. Needed him, his hear, his Brendan-ness..."
