I definitely feel there should be more people my age (I'm in my early 20s) who should know (and be taught) more about these natural medicines. My mother has always been fascinated with 'herbalism' and it kind of rubbed off on me after I watched James Wong's Grow Your Own Drugs a few years ago.

Beautiful photos and drawings abound, and I can see this is going to be a well loved book, thank you, I'm very happy and will recommend it to friends and family alike. One thing I forgot to mention in my review is the fact Julie and Matthew even PROVIDE THE DOSAGES so you don’t have to do any guesswork! The 'hands-on' approach aims to increase your confidence in and knowledge of the use of herbs for healing. A selection from and commentary on the biggest and, in the authors’ opinion, the best herbal ever written in English, John Parkinson’s magnum opus, Theatrum Botanicum or Theater of Plants (1640).The natural health chest for the home (one day, how to assemble a range of herbal remedies for you and your family). A companion volume to Hedgerow Medicine/Backyard Medicine, this book focuses on wild plants of the wayside, most of whose medicinal uses have been forgotten.

If all the above criteria have been met and we agree that you have good reason to withdraw, then a partial refund for the tutor marking element of the course may be granted. The art of natural perfumery (a weekend course introducing the less well known essential oil used in perfumery, how to blend and make perfumes). All materials are included in the cost of the course, which will be taught outside as much as possible. Ranging from high blood pressure in my dad, anaemia, irregular menstrual cycles and infections (and much more).

I was delighted to find that each plant, and there are 50 of them in this book, merited several pages to itself! STEP 2: The Course Manager will then contact you to discuss the issues you have raised and together you will see if you can find a good way forwards.Parkinson (1567–1650) was the official herbalist to King Charles I, a renowned gardener and London apothecary.
