From 12.12am on Monday, August 7, police received calls from a family member of a 16-year-old girl who was reportedly intoxicated and putting herself at risk in Leeds city centre. When the girl was eventually fit to be interviewed, that interview took place with an appropriate adult. She was later released on bail pending further inquiries and advice from the Crown Prosecution Service. Anne Sexton believed that the most interesting poetry was written out of personal experience. Everything she had been through, her hospitalization, her affairs, her insanity, the loss of her parents, and great-aunt, gave her things to write about. She uses poetry as one of her outlet. She writes out her problems. Her writing was a part of her therapy.

West Yorkshire Police Assistant Chief Constable Oz Khan said: "We are aware of a video circulating on social media which, as is often the case, only provides a very limited snapshot of the circumstances of this incident. The mother is heard saying: "It's not a homophobic remark, she said 'I think she's a lesbian, like my nana'." Originally a bonus for the DVD release, "Auntie Edna" is available in the short film section of Disney Plus at the moment and, as I've been running through those, I watched it a few days ago. It's fine, for what it is, but a bit slight.

In March 1960, her father-in-law was killed in a car accident. Anne expressed her feeling of guilt in these events by writing. "I am depressed, My mother is dying of cancer. My mother says I gave her cancer" (Hall 6). Her father was ready to remarry, but he died before the marriage could happen. Anne remembers what happened in All My Pretty Ones: Officers attended at about 1am and drove the teenager to her home so she could be appropriately looked after.
