I can't think of any added accessories to come with Ironhide that would bump him up from Deluxe to Voyager status, unless this is an all new toy and not just a further WFC retool. I mean he was in literally 2 scenes. Could it be the moonbase 1 console or the chair on the shuttle he was sitting in?

Reach past the big screen and build the ultimate Transformers collection with Studio Series figures (each sold separately), inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe. Now including The Transformers: The Movie! So I've been wondering if this is really worth it to replace the ER version. I had this SS86 Ironhide for a very short time and I wasn't too sure if I liked him more than Earthrise Ironhide as I liked how he was next to Siege Ratchet. When I had them side by side it made me think hard about which I liked best STUDIO SERIES VOYAGER CLASS: Voyager Class toys are 6.5-inch collectible action figures designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe, now including The Transformers: The Movie!Update: New images have surfaced, now showing a side-by-side comparison size of SS Ironhide next to Earthrise Ironhide and Ratchet.

Estimated ship date subject to change, items may ship earlier or later than anticipated without notice Via Baidu user cendolking we have our first in-hand images of the robot mode of the highly anticipated Transformers Studio Series 86 Voyager Ironhide. Figure features classic conversion between robot and van modes in 26 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up Entertainment News International (ENI) is the #1 popular culture network for adult fans all around the world. So, I'd also like to have the best looking, most poseable version of every Sunbow/Marvel character, but I'd also like to avoid having more than one of each mold (exception for seekers, Refractor, etc.). So, if they do an 86 Ironhide as a new mold, that'll be great for me b/c I'm happy with the Earthrise Ratchet for G1 Ratchet.

Studio Series 86 Voyager Ironhide First Look - TFW2005

I'm struggling to balance incompatible priorities with my 'G1' collection. My priority had been to get everything as IDW as possible, but then things started spilling over the lines. The Studio Series has always allowed fans to reach past the big screen and create the ultimate Transformers collection inspired by iconic movie moments from the Transformers movie universe. Now, the Studio Series line is expanding to include the epic moments and characters from the classic The Transformers: The Movie, bringing fans a whole new series of screen-inspired figures to collect! Reposting since this is the main thread, looks like they’re the same size in alt mode. The more I look at my pimped ER vanettes, the less I’m hyped by this new voyager IH. I'm just bummed he doesn't have 5mm ports on his arms. I wanna give him big arm cannons. After Bayverse Ironhide, I think every version of Ironhide works with BFGs on each armI’ve been researching for an hour and can’t find any problems. What are the QC problems this Ironhide has? Does anyone have a link to them? Mine is ok so far Yea mine does have an upgrade foot kit to give him the better van look and the gap filler kit to fill the holes, but he seems more bulky in the chest and shoulders. Plus I love the bulk of the van mode as well. But I keep seeing pics of the SS86 one and am starting to like how he looks again in bot mode and how he has the all in one transformation to van mode.

Transformers - Transformers: The Movie - Ironhide Stuido

I agree with that. I think overall alt mode is better than ER…mostly…but those hinges are a distraction. He does everything he’s supposed todo at the price point (compared to other figures that fall short) ICONIC MODES: Figure features classic conversion between robot and van modes in 26 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up The guns aren't actually unique to Ratchet. It's a generic blaster model that practically every Autobot whose toy didn't come with its own handgun wielded at least once in the animation. This is pretty much me, there were several characters I didn't care that much for thus didn't feel the need to buy the figure. Yet there were a few that turned out really nice looking and the display almost feels incomplete without those certain few. I probably never will get Trailbreaker as I was always a Hoist guy, as well as Sunstreaker, Huffer, Skids etc. they just aren't needed in my case. Painting the hands and large areas of painting clear plastic should NOT exist today… why… because we have in the past gotten snap in clear plastic windows with solid plastic in the past at a cheaper price… price doubled quality was cut in half… it’s bullshit and there is no more excuse for it today… the mold is solid. I would have called it epic if they had split the cod plate so we didn’t have to.
