To mention just a few devices that are quieter but also come with great features: Ekrin B37S, Achedaway Pro or the new Hypervolt 2 Pro. It’s a really cool feature to have, but in our opinion it’s perhaps only useful if you were using the gun on another person. Otherwise we don’t believe it’s a must-have feature if you just need the device for yourself. A few caveats: While the Theragun Prime includes four attachments, other models include more — so do your research and decide which attachments are important to you before buying. Also, while our testers found the design and weight of the Theragun Prime to be ergonomic, the Theragun PRO features a rotating arm for even more control over your massage.

Included with the Pro is a separate, smaller travel bag for attachments. This is a good add-on in theory, but it feels unnecessary — you can house the Elite’s attachments in a mesh pouch on the lid, and that seems sufficient. Besides, it’s hard to imagine a situation where you’d be traveling with the Pro and not its case, and need the smaller bag to hold the attachments. The only thing we noticed is that the glossy parts are fingerprint magnets. Otherwise we loved it at first sight. With 40lbs. you can still have a deep enough massage if you want to (especially with the impressive 16mm amplitude).
