Coven Counters - Leinore, Autumn Sovereign (PreCon) Coven Counters - Leinore, Autumn Sovereign (PreCon) Coven Counters - Leinore, Autumn Sovereign (PreCon) Some of these cards might be geared more toward Limited play. If you can find a home for them in Commander, though, good for you! What to Take Out Bring together a myriad of humans and throw a festival for your coven! As the Harvesttide Sovereign, Leinore has the ability to gift your creatures +1/+1 counters as you see fit. Use this ability to turn on coven for Leinore and her guests so you can reap those bounties turn after turn. While Leinore’s coven provides card draw, Human buffs will ensure that coven remains active long into the night. As hope grows among your revelers, watch it fade from your opponent’s eyes.

You folks better don your vegetables and come celebrate the harvest You folks better don your vegetables and come celebrate the harvest You folks better don your vegetables and come celebrate the harvest The Summoner, on the other hand, can easily be replaced by cards from the Selesnya Conclave, which offer tokens for less mana. However, it should not be forgotten that it helps us with the coven mechanics through the different strength values. Destroy the base and crush your enemiesThe two enchantments Death’s Presence and Citadel Siege offer us the possibility to shift tokens on creatures after their death or to put new ones on creatures. Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate Spoilers — May 19 | A Myriad of Myriad and Treasures! , Maja, Bretagard Protector is a board-wide anthem effect, and rewards you for hitting your land drops by giving you more Humans. Her pseudo-landfall ability means she’s particularly effective when played before cards like Celebrate the Harvest; if you plan accordingly, she can become an army-in-a-can with very little effort. Also, feel free to include some +1/+1 counters cards from the previous section in here as well. And if you are wondering about adding more Humans to trigger Kyler’s ability, don’t worry. We’re getting there. New Cards From Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

counters is the primary theme of Coven Counters, and it can often feel like a tough strategy to effectively upgrade, thanks to pricey staples like Doubling Season. However, there’s a lot you can do to improve your counter synergies without breaking the bank! Undead Unleashed is a little bit more nuanced than Coven Counters, and I like it. Zombie fanatics will be pleased to see Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, an interesting commander that opens the door to all sorts of combo synergies out there. Lost Caverns of Ixalan Spoilers — October 30 | 8/8 God for Two, Staple Removal and Resplendent Angel,

"Mike please stop talking, you type too much" -Mike's editors

Our first of two money cards in Undead Unleashed is Curse of the Restless Dead, a card unique to this set. For only three mana even your land drops will generate zombie tokens for you. You can also enchant your opponent if you think they’ll be making more land drops than you, although they may hold their lands in hand if you do so. I don’t think this card is game breaking on its own but it can do some serious damage paired with the right sacrifice outlet. Kyler, Sigardan Emissary is the second-in-command in Coven Counters, and makes for a great Human-themed commander. As their power grows, so do of all the humans around them. The +1/+1 counter subtheme fits well with Humans, too, as many of them work with +1/+1 counters already, like Thalia’s Lieutenant. If built correctly, Kyler can be one of the strongest and most aggressive Humans commanders available. Thankfully the upgrade cards are relatively cheap, the precon would start you off at MSRP of around 40 and then maybe 150-160 for upgrades. Disclaimer: the upgrades are at the bottom of the article, so scroll all the way down if that's the only thing you're here for. The rest of the article analyzes the precon and shows you how I chose my upgrades. card draw; Leinore, Autumn Sovereign, Wall of Mourning, Inspiring Call, Shamanic Revelation, Lifecrafter's Bestiary
