DS-2CD2387G2-LU ColorVu turret cameras? Best settings for DS-2CD2387G2-LU ColorVu turret cameras?

But I think it’s fair to say that there isn’t really much to choose between the 8MP and 4MP ColorVu cameras for low-light capability. I have 3 ColorVu‘s covering the front of my property and a relatively well lit scene via street lights but the local authority do turn them off between fixed hrs, so that is when I enable the cameras own LEDs to turn on. I also have a porch light which is on from dawn to dusk.A selection of 4 standard and 2 custom scene profiles for image parameters, which can be set on up to 4 schedules. These are monthly schedules covering a whole year! Then I’ve dropped the exposure to 1/500 and 1/1000 so the 4MP and 8MP ColorVu cameras can be compared. The low-light performance is very similar to the familiar DS-2CD2347G1-L(U) ColorVu camera. It uses the same type 62 sensor. Comparison shots (plenty of these in other threads) - Power Consumption and Current: 12 VDC, 0.5 A, max. 6 W, PoE (802.3af, 36 V to 57 V), 0.2 A to 0.1 A, max. 7.5 W I have exactly the same firmware as you and I do have the enable audio under the advanced tab, so that is odd.

H.264 is generally the most reliable for video quality (it compresses the video less than H265/H.265+), We have received a test version of the new firmware update which we have shared directly with some of our own customers experiencing issues with the AcuSense cameras, but Hikvision support has asked us not to share this version publicly yet as like with the v135 firmware it may cause other issues and may get pulled before going public.but when I get to the step Configuration > Storage > Schedule Settings the box that appears is not the same as the one showing in the other thread. The box showing on my camera has the following options - Overwrite, Pre-record, Post-record, stream type. Registered Office: use-IP Ltd, Floor 1 Maritime House, 178-180 Snargate Street, Dover, Kent. CT17 9BZ These cameras feature a bright, white LED light which helps to provide excellent colour image at night. Please keep in mind that these LED lights are quite bright and remain switched on at low light levels until light levels increase. This may not be suitable for all users, especially those in close, residential areas. No unfortunately not - the K series uses different firmware. I’d assumed the issue was with the camera firmware rather than NVR.
