The table below summarises this year’s results. Brands are ranked by their customer satisfaction score, which relates to whether or not owners would recommend the brand to a friend. Problems with auto cut-off (12%)We’ve collected lots of data on average scores in our lab tests, customer happiness and estimated lifetime to supply an in-depth picture of well-known kettle brands. According to our recent survey of Which? members, the most common problem encountered in kettles is a faulty lid. This includes issues such as the lid failing to open, or even the lid popping open during the boiling process. You can prevent this from happening by never forcing the lid open or slamming it closed. 2. Limescale problems (12%) We’ve collected data on the biggest kettle brands, including Russell Hobbs, Bosch, Dualit, Breville, DeLonghi and Kenwood. This means we can tell you which brands we recommend and which ones you’re better off avoiding.
