at it any character moments that would make you think about anything other than demons is rushed, or uninteresting. If the plot is going somewhere it doesn't make you feel like it. Three years ago, mutant demons began appearing in Japan. While some are harmless or helpful towards humans, others are troublesome. Created from humans suffering from extreme emotional distress or unresolved trauma, these mutant demons began to wreak havoc as they began to evolve to be more intelligent and dangerous.

It's not serviceable, or alright, or bad. It is GOOD. The art is what carries this manga in every sense. Sharp linework, beautiful detailing and some great shots really pull you in. The manga is boring, but at least the pictures are pretty to look at, and if that's enough motivation for anyone then it's probably worth giving a shot, but personally it isn't. That's what's saying, "spend a tenner on me and not One Punch Man." That however is also the depth of each character. None of them are really worth caring about beyond the fun character designs. They're all shallow or tropey, enough so that it ends up being cringe. Investing into them doesn't do anything either, because they lose relevance after the chapter they got introduced in, which is probably why most of their introductions feel rushed.

I was the stupid one for making groundless assumptions based off of what I thought a manga about a rooster fighting demons would be like.
