Described by Fun Girl herself, Saisho was a sick and twisted person who would do anything to accomplish his goals. Through the texts, the Fun Girl will explain an experiment gone wrong where she was shattered across time and space where everything was still the same, except for the fact that she never existed. The book follows Fungirl, Becky, her roommate/ex-girlfriend, and Peter, Becky’s overly nice boyfriend, through an illuminating series of grimly funny escalating interpersonal calamities, and hilarious social blunders. If you liked the artwork but wish the humor was a bit less vulgar, I'd recommend you pick up Candy Hearts, Woman World, or Teen Dog. Unfortunately I wasn't a huge fan of the humor of this comic, which is largely inappropriate and immature. Once a number is entered and the game is started up, the menu will not appear, but the black screen with the floating head will. Pich renders FUNGIRL’s particular messiness deliciously palatable, like an inappropriate wedding cake.
