Description

The age gap/dad’s best friend part here isn’t really much of a big deal. Her dad wasn’t super excited but he accepted the situation pretty easily. It’s great to meet you! I’m a socially-awkward introvert who loves love stories. I’m not awesome at singing or keeping my house clean, but I somehow find the time to obsessively read romance novels. I consider it one of my many talents. I’ll admit a lot of this is corny. Small town billionaires in a secret society that runs like a criminal organization. Members of the Savage Six are described repeatedly to be the most badass, unstoppable, powerful men to ever grace the earth. It’s a bit much and it definitely takes itself very seriously however if you don’t take it too seriously and you like Hs like Cole you’ll enjoy this too. Being used as a bargaining chip in her father’s attempt to reclaim his power, Fallon Ashwell has been given to rival and Fallen Angels MC leader, Anton Leven. This was soo hard to rate. There was so much I didn’t like but I had to keep reading, it was like a car crash and I couldn’t look away. Fair warning for all, Cole openly admits he wants Fallon on her 16th birthday so really he wanted her before then as well so that might not sit well with others although it didn’t bother me. They don’t do anything until she is 18 anyways. This story was annoying but also intriguing. Gahhh I can’t even review it properly.

Beautiful Carnage (Dark Empire Book 1) eBook : Peckham

But we’ve got bigger problems as a new rival threatens the Savage Society and Cole’s position in it. War’s coming, and my hitman boyfriend’s about to learn what ‘til death do us part really means… Les Secretions Romantiques - Megaturbocore (pot d'echappement edit) - Beautiful Carnage comp n°1 (2008) H is h's father's best friend. She had a crush on him since she was sixteen and I love that he stayed celibate and waited til she turned eighteen. The hero thinks of himself too highly, is always boasting about how he's THE shit, or how cool he is, how ruthless, controlling, how everyone and everything will bow down to the greatness that is his measly persona. I like reading about assholes, possessive and obsessive jerks, it's entertaining. But those traits have to come through actions and not words, or constant mental diarrhea. Otherwise it will come off as whiney and pathetic.Well not sure how this will play out. After several chapters of nothing and skimming I decided I will stop. Since there is over 50 chapters in this book I for see more of the nothing happening that I've already read. Fallon has always been in love with her dad's best friend, Cole. On her 16th birthday she asked him to give her her first kiss but he said no. Two years later, Fallon is abruptly engaged in an arranged marriage to Cole's enemy. As soon as she turns 18, Cole goes after her with everything he has.

Beautiful Carnage (Boys of Sinners Bay, book 1) by Caroline

The story is about Fallon and Cole, it has tropes like fathers best friend, age gap, there is a gang, and lots of br33ding. Fallon has had her heart set on Cole, her father’s best friend, since she was about 16 years old. The day she turned 18, he showed her that she was his despite an arranged marriage that was to take place between Fallon and Anton. Anton is a snake in the grass and part of a gang the Savage Six are trying to negotiate with. Fallon is a regular teenaged girl with regular teenaged dreams. Wait. That's not right. Fallon is in love with her father's 36-year-old best friend, Cole, and dreams about marrying him. She's under the impression he doesn't even know she exists. Until her 18th birthday, when Cole comes to claim her. Trouble is, she's already been promised to a new business partner of her father's who will soon become a rival. And Cole isn't taking no for an answer. Not from Fallon, not from her father, and certainly not from her betrothed. Cause Cole keeps saying that boy(Anton) is out of their league so why bother to pretend pawn your daughter why just not end that lil shit earlier if that was easy for you. Beautiful Carnage is what is my heart and I think the author did an amazing job at that. This book was incredible and messed up which is quite similar to how I like it.Wonderful story and it had an HEA and this story actually had what I love. They didn't break up with each other and instead there was other plot drama which I loved and what I aim to write as well.

quilt looks great or it a - Yumpu

The parts of this novel were predictable, yet well written and captivating. My only wish was that some of the “hunting/rescuing agony” would have been more visible and longer. Past the prologue most of this book reads like a jealous/possessive readers fever dream. Cole is OTT possessive and I reveled in how delicious it was throughout. The godawful cover! The guy on the cover looks like like an emo kid in HS, but he’s supposed to be a rugged 36 year old. One of my biggest pet peeves is when there’s a person on the cover but they don’t match the description of the characters. The ending felt rushed and didn’t make a lot of sense. Again, maybe it will make more sense as the series continues, but as it was I felt like there was still a lot left to be said.I liked that Fallon and Cole were confident and knew what they wanted. There was no unnecessary drama in their relationship. In so many books, characters miscommunicate and walk away when the whole problem could be solved with a simple conversation. Fallon and Cole just said what they thought, and I thought that was refreshing. Halfway through it, I just started skimming through the rest because there was no point in the story anymore. By the end, it was just drama (really bad drama), after drama, it was ridiculous. Like, someone tries to kill her on her sleep, she brokes her unkle and almost falls into a river, then she gets kidnapped at school or whatever.. It was pure bullshit. We know the hero is going to come rescue her anyways. They're gonna kiss, he's gonna say "you're mine" or some shit like that and it's done. My point is: there's nothing exciting about it. It's like reading the same thing over and over again. This book is deliciously dark with just a bit of taboo. I loved Fallon as a heroine. She’s tough, she has a fake persona that she puts on for the world at school, and she’s the perfect daughter of a mafioso. Cole is delightfully dark and disturbed, and he’s known for a while now that he plans to make Fallon his. This is a dad’s best friend romance, and he’s a little worried that his friendship with his best (and, well, only) friend will be damaged by the fact that he plans to marry his daughter asap. Type: Beautiful Carnage is part of the Savage Society of Emerald Hills series/world, but can be read as a standalone. If you love tropes like br33ding, daddy’s best friend and an age difference (around 18 years), this is 100% for you! Hold on to your panties because this book is very hot.
