Description

Core color consistency was generally excellent, though it should be noted that there is variation from the balls we cut last year. This isn’t entirely unexpected as Titleist adjusts formulations seasonally to ensure consistent performance as seasons (temperature and humidity) change. Cover As we’ve come to expect, Left Dash isn’t perfect. Minor defects, specifically slightly off-center cores, and layer concentricity issues, while not prevalent, are not entirely uncommon either. It’s also a reasonable assumption that some golfers will have an issue with the firm feel.

And, sure, in situations like these it’s reasonable to defer to the manufacturer’s assessment but given how Left Dash’s performance characteristics align with what golfers want ( more distance throughout the bag with enough spin for most around the green), I’d suggest the company is somewhat stubbornly missing the plot. If there is a widespread and significant problem with the cores, it’s going to show up on the gauges. It’s why we,. as soon as we realized cutting wasn’t nearly enough, we invested in a proper set of tools. All of the sample balls also met our standard for roundness—by plenty. Well, in case you're not aware, Titleist has a fourth option that may be the answer - Pro V1x Left Dash. 1. Pro V1 x Left Dash Began as a Titleist CPO Both Pro V1x and Pro V1x Left dash have different layers, and the process core is also changed over time. Both have different absorption power. Do the same thing around the greens but rather than a structured approach, I tend to just toss them around and try a few different shots with different wedges.

Id also be interested to know that, all things being equal, if you drop a certain amount of spin off each shot, i.e 300rpm, 500rpm etc, what effect on ball flight would that have in a robot, lab scenario? On our gauge, the average compression of the Pro V1x Left Dash is 102. It’s the firmest ball in our database. For reference, the Cut Blue DC and Mizuno RB Tour X both average 99 compression while the Bridgestone Tour BX is roughly 98.5 on average. Given the correlation between compression and speed, along with Left Dash’s high-launch, low-spin characteristics, it’s reasonable to conclude that it will prove to be one of the longest urethane balls on the market– likely the longest. Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash – Weight and DiameterPeople who play golf are very familiar with the name Titleist. They produce the best products like Pro V1x. Because Pro V1x has a Left Dash variation, when people get Titleist golf balls, they often need clarification about which to buy. Pro V1x Left Dash isn’t as popular as Pro V1x, instead having nearly similar specs. Only 5% use the Left Dash model of Pro V1. Price Titleist is introducing a new version of its popular Pro V1x golf ball — only you won’t see it on any retail shelves in the future.
