Description

I think perhaps from the title I thought it would be a bit of a silly story, and to an extent it was a little. The world is occupied by Williams, a clone race who identify each other by a designated number - on their 365th day on this planet, they are willingly executed and turned to slurry to feed their test tube replacements but our hapless hero William 790 isn't executed as planned so he goes back to his life and starts to see the things that those around him aren't capable of noticing. If you want more horror in the BODY SNATCHERS/WHO'S WHO style you should try AQUACREEP 3D or SKINWALKER.

This is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world that is filled with clones, 6 billion copies of an unassuming, bland, and unremarkable man named William. Six billion identical clones make up the entire population of Earth, and William 790-6 (57th Iteration) is exactly like everybody else. Because that’s the scariest part this story in particular asks, what if we all just become unquestioning cattle? It is not based on a Michael Crichton book, Steven Spielberg, relinquished directing duties, Stan Winston’s dinosaurs remain intact, and introduces the Spinosaurus.During his adventure of self-discovery there are many shocking revelations and dreams of a better world, not only for him, but for all the Williams of the world. Billy and the Cloneasaurus is a wonderful story highlighting current issues in our society, and is a warning for what may come. The satire, particularly that of late-stage capitalism is biting and hilarious with all the William's celebrating 'profit day,' where the companies profits are announced, by going on a mad spending spree.

com, the Sell on Etsy app, and the Etsy app, as well as the electricity that powers Etsy’s global offices and employees working remotely from home in the US. If you assume they have the same level of greed (you know, because they’re clones) then I would have expected that the clones wouldn’t want to spend so much of their money. Were there tweaks in the genetic process to allow one clone to have capabilities that the others didn’t? Finally, the story is going somewhere, but it constantly takes the reader into unexpected directions, culminating with an ending that is both unbelievable but strangely appropriate. When William 790-6’s first birthday rolls around, he is up for his mandated Logan’s Run style execution.

Stephen Kozeniewski's "Billy and the Cloneasaurus" is biting, thoughtful dystopian fiction from Severed Press. It is a well-written illustration about the dangers of consumerism, blind faith in our leaders, and the horrific extent some could go to for profit and maintaining a status quo.
