As I've grown older and the story has grown, I still have respect for Rachel and the series [while still reading the entire series]. We found this an easy read for 9 -10 year olds but would also recommend it to up to 13yr olds as well. It’s not totally unrealistic to finally make the ship sail instead of dragging it out for silly plot drama that would never actually happen in real life. I found this book’s plot to be the most interesting out of the entire series, and I loved the introduction of the new characters. It seems Andrea is a little nervous about attending WCD, but Nikki tells her she has nothing to worry about and she'll make sure her week there is a memorable one.
