to warm everything up so the 23-622 has run for at least 60 km and the 25-622 somewhere around 500 km. Because the general thinking is that rolling resistance of a tire decreases as it wears, and our results are so counterintuitive, we've performed extra tests that we think proof our results are correct. Wear of the Continental Grand Prix 5000 is extremely low. At the current rate, it looks like they can both easily make it to 6200 miles / 10000 km if the casings hold up. Please keep in mind that my regular lap which makes

A lower rolling resistance while at the same time providing a better puncture resistance sounded too good to be true. After performing the rolling resistance tests, and noticing the lower rolling resistance, I didn't think it would be possible to also improve puncture resistance but hoped it would at least be equal. Finding out it scores 1 point less did disappoint me as it makes the lower rolling resistance a little bit less exciting. Active Comfort: The revolutionary approach in cycling. Embedded in the tyre construction the Active Comfort Technology absorbs vibrations and smoothens your ride. Even though the rear GP 5000 has slightly more wear, rolling resistance of the rear 32-622 GP 5000 has also gone up by 5 - 9 %. It looks like the rubber compound has already lost someRoller testing run 01 excluded from GP5000 S TR results – the unexplained increase of 4 watts seems anomalous in the context of all other runs.) Active Comfort Technology on the Continental Grand Prix 5000 minimises turbulence and offers a higher level of comfort thanks to its ability to absorb ground irregularities. the front tire and can still be seen on the rear tire when you really look for it. The casings of both tires also still look like brand new.

On the bike, the GP5000 S TR feels a lot like the old GP5000 TL, which is no bad thing at all. Simon von Bromley / Immediate Media Durability Continental claims the GP 5000 has a 12% lower rolling resistance when compared to its predecessor. Our tests confirm rolling resistance of the GP 5000 is actually even lower with a maximum of 18% less rolling resistance at the highest air pressure of 120 psi / 8.3 bars! At the lower air pressure of 80 psi / 5.5 bars, there is indeed 12% less rolling resistance according to our tests.

The rear 32-622 Grand Prix 5000 shows more wear but at the current rate, it still looks like it's going to last somewhere around 5000 miles / 8000 km if the rest of the tire holds up. my riding consists of a flat 40k lap with mostly straight roads and very little stopping and starting which is something that might add to the very low wear rate.
