Description

This is a great activity for kids to work on following and communicating multiple action step instructions to complete a task, solve a problem, or perform a procedure. What is an algorithm? As with pretty much all my printables I’ve provided two paper sizes – A4 and US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) – use which size is appropriate for your printer.

Keep your players in mind when hanging up Rudolph. When you’re playing with younger kids, he’ll need to be closer to the ground than when you’re playing with older kids. Enjoy the hilarity which ensues when, whilst blindfolded, players try to pin Rudolph's red nose in the right place! Out of the whole project.. the colouring of the Paper Baubles probably took the longest. So if you are short on time, you can just cut out some coloured paper circles!! But we had fun doing the colouring and it was a nice after school activity for us.Print and hang Pin the Nose on Rudolph Game Board at an appropriate level on a wall. Make sure that there is at least 5-10ft of space to set up obstacles. The more obstacles you add the harder the code is to write.

I decided to go for a REALLY BIG Rudolph, as big as possible! Teehee. In retrospect maybe a smaller is better so it is harder to pin the nose??!? Ha. I don’t know. I think this large one is super cute.. great for younger kids AND can also double up as a lovely seasonal decoration! My kids are so excited about this… If you're looking for simple games for the whole family, what about this Christmas Treasure Hunt? There's also Christmas 'Who Am I?' or this Winter Bingo Game Printable.Tinsel (we haven’t added any (yet) but I think some tinsel around the outside would be super lovely too!) When playing this game, make sure you leave lots of space for the child playing to move around. Also, make sure to remove any obstacles and sharp objects from the area. This will keep the game safe as it is played. This unplugged coding activity uses those steps to define what an algorithm is and then watch their algorithm run while communicating their steps to a teammate who follows them.

Make Yourself an Elf Craft - Children will love making their own elf with this craft. Who is Rudolph the Reindeer? Another fantastic festive game that you might want to take a look at is this Christmas Board Game! It’s another brilliant game to play with your friends and family.I decided that I wanted to have with Rudolph’s antlers.. and that I wanted them BIG and promiment, so I could “hang some baubles from it”. Normally I would have made two the same (but reversed), but my pieces of cardboard where a slightly different shape and size.

We the tied on some bakers twine (get some here US/ UK) for “effect”, but stapled the paper baubles in place! We used a large pin board, that happened to be red – perfect Christmassy feel. However you CAN make this our a large piece of cardboard too This Christmas game is great because it really doesn’t take a lot of prep work. Print out the Pin the Nose on Rudolph game and cut out the little red noses. These are what you’re going to “pin” on Rudolph’s face. Make sure you’ve got some tape on hand to stink your noses to Rudolph’s face. You’ll also want to make sure you’ve got a clear open space. Blindfolds will also be helpful unless you can trust your players to keep their eyes closed. The objective is simple – players take turns trying to pin the red nose on Rudolph while blindfolded. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to play: Santa couldn’t make his worldwide trip once a year without the help of his reindeer helpers. Here are all of their names in a handy list for you. Offer a variety of games at your fair to encourage visitors to stay – and keep spending their money – for longer.
