I’m still not sold on Fire Dragons. I love that unit and they got some badly needed boosts in their damage output and interactions with other units (Falcons, Webway Gate), but they’re still handicapped by a high potential to do nothing. Many of their primary targets in the meta carry a decent invulnerable save and their true enemy, variance, is real. An opponent spiking on 4+ invulnerable saves then immediately wiping your Fire Dragons that had been its main threat will never feel good, and in the typical six GT tournament will happen more likely than not. Perhaps most limiting is their Exarch abilities, which are good but expensive, and aren’t particularly impactful coming out of reserves or a Falcon.

This is a collection of 3rd party sculptors and designers for our space elves. If you know more let us know. Disclaimer: i haven't bought from any of these so I can't attest for their quality. Corsair Voidscarred give access to the stranger weirdos from the new kit, and probably end up most interesting for Drukhari. There are also a bunch of relic weapons, and honestly you probably just don’t take these – they’re better than they were in 8th, generally, but none of them are transformational to a unit’s capabilities like some of the above are.

The rest of this section is fine, but not spectacular. Foot Autarchs have some cool builds, but aren’t any cheaper than bike ones if you take a mobility option, meaning Sunstorm probably leaves them in the dust. They also have the bizarre issue, as in Eldritch Omens, where the Autarch that’s on the cover of the codex isn’t a legal build. Yriel and Illic both still do some OK things, but Yriel is a foot Autarch with no mobility tools, and Illic is too highly priced to be a draw. Finally, if you just want the cheapest relevant HQ possible in some sort of skew build (or are going hard on Wraiths), Spiritseers exist.

As such, a Farseer is not normally in a waking state, though their visionary skills allow them to direct their fellow Asuryani in avoiding those dangers that can fall upon the craftworlds. This is accomplished by way of exploring potential future paths that may lie ahead and making a determination about which paths need to be altered to produce a better future outcome.Asuryani upon the Path of the Seer learn to harness their powers using complex, psychically sensitive wraithbone runes. These act not only as prophetic tools, but also as arcane wards that smoulder and burn out whenever the energies of the Warp flow too strong. Suppressing Fire lets Swooping Hawks switch off enemy Overwatch and Actions, and against opponents who don’t have some sort of indirect to take them off the table can make them quite annoying.

The psyker twists time, their outline blurring as they and their fellows move like phantoms across the field. Those cursed by such temporal manipulations find themselves moving as if through deep water. Will of Asuryan seems pretty weak to me as Eldar have other ways to mitigate Leadership if you need it. Using a small brush, carefully paint the Farseer’s helmet with White Scar, aiming for a bright and pure white color. Apply multiple thin layers if needed to achieve smooth and even coverage. For 32 points more, you can switch over to the Farseer Skyrunner– technically a different unit, but like many things in 8th edition it’s essentially just an upgrade. Skyrunners come with an extra wound (for a total of six), an extra toughness (making them T4 overall). Just as importantly, they also gain the Fly keyword and a 16″ movement speed, allowing them to zip around the battlefield freely and, like all bikes, when they advance they automatically get an additional 6″- you aren’t going to get much faster than that on almost anything in the game. At the start of the Fight phase, if that unit is within Engagement Range of any enemy units, it can fight first that phase.
