Description

Built-in depth stop allows a preliminary cut of 2mm to be performed before the entire material is cut through for clean and splinter-free cutting My name is Dan Pattison and I am a self-employed builder and designer from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The majority of my local work consists of custom kitchens, built-in cabinetry, trim work and finish carpentry. I enjoy the design and build process and the satisfaction that comes from building things with my hands. The SP6000J2 has a powerful 12 AMP motor with soft start for smooth start-ups, and Electronic Speed Control to maintain a constant speed under load for smooth cutting. The variable speed dial control (2,000 – 5,200 RPM) allows the user to set the speed for optimum performance in a variety of materials. The built-in torque limiter helps prevent motor burnout, with an electric brake for added productivity. Precision Cuts and Ease of Use While the Matika SP6000 has a high power-to-weight ratio, it’s impressive that the machine weighs a mere 9 pounds. It is not guaranteed to survive several hard falls, but a bit of caution will ensure the product gives you years of excellent service. Handling I am always trying to come up with better and more efficient ways to work. My Multi Purpose Table (MPT) design came from my desire for a more efficient way to work along with being able to build it myself rather than buying something commercially made. A result of the Imagine-Design-Build process.

My skills and tool collection grew from there and has brought me to where I am today.Optional guide rail system interacts with the saw base to provide smooth, perfect, dead-on straight or bevel cutting (available as SP6000K1) The saw has a bevel capability of -1° to 48° with positive stops at 22.5° and 45°.
