As a fragrance collector/enthusiaist I care mostly about the scents themselves but the bottles are an important aspect of this hobby. I find it far more similar than any clones I've tested of it, no unnecessary chocolate notes or anything.

This is nearly bad as mugler and the pure line,but,there is one difference between the two, they actually smell good mostly and differ just enough to keep those interesting, the YSl l'homme flankers just uninspiring. I could go on and on, starting to describe the notes coming from this exquisite aroma, but i am going back to the bottle now.We have bought perfumes from this brand before and everything has always been good, but this time we were unlucky. It seems like YSL corrected this mistake in the Bleu Electrique flanker but then they stripped out the delicious creamy vanilla. Sometimes it dies quick in a few hours in cold A/C, sometimes I smell it 10 hours later, kinda strange but think its all about skin heat. LNDL Bleu electrique is a little fresher in the opening than the original, yet still has a lot of beautiful cardemom sweetness all the way through into the drydown. It so sweet in the opening nearly cloying but not overwhelming yeah that's the work of the Apple note in the top note but it settle down after the dry down in an hour plus so you won't feel any cloying or whatsoever.They ground the scent, giving it the kind of staying power that makes you think, "If I were a fragrance, I'd be this one. I was very skeptical myself after seeing these ratings and reviews but boy was I wrong, I should of bought this fragrance sooner. I would be embarrassed to show up for a date wearing this, as it smells like a cheaper and more offensive version of the original. I can see why it was discontinued, YSL released a fragrance that had decent performance and that’s not allowed. Because of the freshness and toned down spice, this also goes great in daylight and also warmer temperatures. Green apple, lavender, unknown spices, tonka bean, and a pinch of vanilla are notes I'm able to pick out. There is indeed something in it, which reminds one again and again a little bit of it, however, I have the feeling of wearing a vintage version of La Nuit de L'Homme now more and more.
