Description

This is a careful balancing act that requires enough pressure to keep the headset in place, but not so much pressure that creates headaches or discomfort. Granted, you shouldn’t expect this sound to rival that of a Bose headset, but you should expect some solid sound overall, and in that sense, it delivers. Something to keep in mind here is this is a business headset, and unlike that Bose headset, it’s not designed for personal entertainment as it’s primary design objective. With that in mind, the sound quality you get from this headset is respectable. Buttons on the headset With all the audio and video meetings going on these days, having a headset to use on those meetings isn’t really optional any longer. The majority of meetings take place using computer applications such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, RingCentral and others.

When you wear one of these headsets for a period of time, you can feel the hard plastic from the ear speaker housing pressing against the ear. This is not only uncomfortable for short periods of time, but imagine the discomfort if worn all day? De Evolve2 modellen met Microsoft Teams-certificering ondersteunen Microsoft Teams als een plug-and-play-ervaring. De plug-and-play-ervaring biedt de volgende voordelen:

The Jabra Evolve2 30 comes with a built-in busy light. When you go live on a call, the busy lamp turns on to alert those around you that you’re on a call, and not to be disturbed. This is a nice feature that helps to minimize interruptions, as well as helps you to get more done during your work day. Headset Software Fortunately though, the Evolve2 30 isn’t a cost cutting designed headset. Jabra uses memory foam in the ear cushions which is a premium material, and known to conform to you, and your specific contour, making for a more comfortable wearing experience. The headband on the Evolve2 30 is adjustable which allows you to position the ear cushion(s) comfortably against your ear. We’re all uniquely built, and having the ability to place the ear cushions in the right spot helps make the headset wearing experience all the better. The headband, and slider are both built from stainless steel for durability.

Blender Test - We cranked up a blender on high 2-3 feet away. And though I realize that most people aren’t blending pitchers of Margaritas or Fruit Smoothies while on calls, this is a great noise challenge for any headset. I guess it simply comes down to personal preference, and that happens to be mine. Yours may be different, and if so, then there are many other good quality headsets with the feature buttons on the controller rather than on the headset itself. Busy light on board

Compatibility guide

Comfort is always an important factor, but so is sound quality. After all, if a headset is comfortable, but it sounds bad, well, there’s no sense in considering it. We all want to sound good when we’re on calls, so how does this Jabra Evolve2 30 sound? One of our YouTube viewers asked to compare the Jabra Evolve 30 II and new Evolve2 30. We took it one step further and included the Jabra Evolve2 40 as well. In the video below we provide a brief over of the differences between these three headset models and include a side-by-side mic test. Which headset do you think performed best? As far as voice audio quality is concerned, the Evolve2 30 did a good job. The voice quality was good and professional for sure. After all, this is a Jabra headset, and I can’t think of a headset they make that sounds poor. The truth is, they make good quality headsets, and the Evolve2 30 isn’t an exception.

By headset standards, these are both very lightweight, and when it comes to comfort, weight plays an important role. Many headsets we’ve reviewed weigh 6 ounces, and even as much as 10 ounces. So when you stop to compare, it’s easy to see that the Evolve2 30 was designed with comfort in mind. Sound quality - 1 star, 5 stars, or something in between? Or, that headset could end up in a box that will find its way to a closet or storeroom. Worse yet, it might just get tossed out in the trash. Perish the thought. You’d never do that because you’re eco responsible, right? While on the subject of sound, the Jabra Evolve2 30 features wideband audio and 28 mm drivers for great sound quality whether on calls, or listening to music. Some may prefer for the buttons to be located on the inline controller, while others may prefer them to be on the earpiece of the headset. For me personally, I like the buttons on the headset.

Lightweight and Comfortable

The audio quality is professional for sure, and without a doubt appropriate for use on any kind of business call. I have heard other headsets that do sound better, that provide a more rich sound, but those headsets generally are priced two to three times as much as the Evolve2 30. So give credit where credit is due. This headset does a good job.
