For those who are very familiar with the imagery in the Rider-Waite version of the Star, the presence of a bird and greenery won’t be so surprising. The cards are influenced with RWS, so for those that are branching away from the traditional starter decks, this is a nice transition without straying too far or making it too difficult to know what the cards mean or what they may be.

It was a bit different from my other Tarot decks, so I thought it would be a good addition to check it out. The colors are a bit more muted but I enjoy the color theme throughout and the running theme and consistent drawing style in the deck. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. The imagery of the Aquarian Tarot deck has many traditional elements seen in beginner decks, but lacks many of the symbols found in decks like the Rider-Waite or Robert Henson. There is a simplicity to the cards and they are very nice to use with people who may think traditional Tarot cards are a bit scary.

In this post, I take a deeper look into the Aquarian Tarot deck – who created it, what makes it special, and how to interpret it in your Tarot readings. This 78-card deck is meant to be used as a Tarot deck, allowing you to use them as a traditional deck. The compelling imagery in this best-selling tarot deck brings medieval tarot symbolism into the modern Aquarian age. The Aquarian Tarot will also resonate with people who vividly experienced in the late 60s and early 70s or anyone who feels connected to that era. One of those touches is the way the faces of characters in the cards tend to be somewhat ethereal, showing less of the underlying personality than the Rider-Waite. The Aquarian Tarot has remained a bestseller throughout the four decades it has been in print and still resonates today with those seeking transformation.

Italian-born American-raised artist David Palladini released the Aquarian Tarot deck in 1970, when he was just 24-years-old. Palladini said that the cards “explore man’s collective unconscious and its bearing on one’s personal life and growth. He said that the Aquarian Tarot deck can point a person in a new direction and add a new dimension to one’s life experience.Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. For anyone familiar with Tarot, this would be a lovely addition that brings beauty and comfortable images to the RWS traditional tarot. This beautiful deck combines Art Deco and Art Nouveau imagery with medieval depictions to create a unique aesthetic. This deck is very emotive - there's a strong sense of feeling that emanates from these cards, and it is often that feeling, rather than the imagery depicted, that informs my reading with them. What makes the Rider-Waite and the Aquarian so powerful and enduring is the symbolism embodied in the artwork - a symbolism that evokes profound responses from the Unconscious mind.

Today's review is covering a deck that caught my attention for it's beautiful art deco/nouveau style artwork. That is—act as A Catalyst for the floodgates of one's own psychic abilities to open, flow and be directed.
