From the Sonoma’s Dry Creek Valley and Russian River sub-appellations(31%) comes the complexity of black fruits and a distinct black pepper spiced Zinfandels. USA Producer Notes Lodi’s historic old-vine Zinfandel sites contribute the largest portion of this blend, along with fruit from Mendocino County and San Luis Obispo.This process imparts delicious slathers of charred vanilla and caramel on the hedonistic black-fruit palate of the 1000 Stories. Hedonistic, juicy Zinfandel from Lodi (11%) brings round tannins and opulent notes of dark fruit to the 2015 1000 Stories Zinfandel. The fruit from the Dry Creek vineyards then provides flavors of complex black fruits and distinct black pepper spice. Individual lots for this intriguing wine began the ageing process in traditional American and French oak barrels before being introduced to new Bourbon barrels.

Hedonistic, juicy Zinfandel from Lodi (22%) brings round tannins and opulent notes of dark fruit to the 2015 1000 Stories Zinfandel. In addition, Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel (5%) balances out the batch with its complex black fruits and a distinct black pepper spice.
