Given the notable video quality (yea, we can’t stop raving about the image quality) and essential key features to match, it certainly keeps Transcend’s camera in the running when weighing a purchase decision against pricier dash cameras. I see you point about it’s visibility to potential criminals, but I take mine out if I’m not confident about the area I park it in, so this doesn’t effect me. We recommend using 1 minute clip size for this camera if you plan on using the WiFi function to transfer select clips to your smartphone.

When I bought a new Blackvue dashcam this Transcend was still in the back of my mind so I decided to take it apart. Works well enough, but then I received test notifications from this app which was disconcerting as I had not used it in a long time (a number of reboots ago) which means it's always running as a service. Can anyone help me, I can’t seem to find a replacement battery for this, I just googled the above and nothing turned up and I don’t feel confident working out what can be a suitable/compatible replacement.
