Cole and Silver have known each other since their childhood. They both had a mutual dislike for each other. That is until they found peace with each other on their worst day together. Weaknesses were shared and a bond was formed. A bond that lasted forever. For both Kimberly and Xander, their broken pieces cut me soul deep- ALL THE FEELS never felt more appropriate. I saw them, and I loved their journey and such a scarred and beautiful story with a HEA. Get ready… not to be able to put this book down, to feel the thrill of gagging and… crying… and I don’t mean a tear or two. I’ve only referred to certain films in this way, but this book…is definitely a teardrop. Keep your tissues handy.

I can see why Rina still says this is her most emotional book, it takes you on a different journey than the rest of the Elite couples. Both Cole and Silver had a very complicated story. Both wanted each other and hated each other. Things got even more complicated when their parents got married. But Cole was not going to let anyone come in his way. Silver was his and that meant nothing would ever keep them apart. Rina Kent's books happen in the same world, but with a slightly different timeline and therefore, many characters pop across different books.Lastly, this book is definitely sizzling hot. There are a lot of intimate scenes between Cole and Silver and they are off the charts erotic. Though later in the book when the two of them were together the steamy parts were sort of glossed over. So for the fans who don’t like too many steamy scenes, this should be fine with them. For me, I like all the steamy scenes, so I wasn’t too happy when the love scenes were mentioned but not detailed. Ya... This book wasn't for me😅, for many reasons. It felt like a bit of a washed down version of Aiden's trilogy mixed with Broken Knight by LJ Shen and a couple other books I can't think of right now. Then the big revelation came, which was pretty obvious, and I just liked this book less. I've read multiple books/series where the revelation is a plot device or the main plot (still scarred from The Mortal Instruments series tbh), and I am currently watching a show where it was used as a plot device, so I am even more annoyed that that was the big reason he hated her and caused her to suffer for so many years, which is still inexcusable in my book. Not only did the book answer all the questions that kept spinning in my head since I read the first book in this series, but it showed the main characters in a new light and it also showed that the characters are never what they seem at first, but we need to see their side of the story so we can to understand them. Just stop including a mother figure in these books if that’s what you're gonna do with them every time!

I wanted to see all his misery and angst about how he was dealing with being attracted to her even though he knew it was wrong.Rina Kent hates women; I am sure now. This is the hundredth time she's featured a "bad, mentially ill, fat-shaming mother" in this series of books. After reading Aiden and Elsa's trilogy, I knew I needed to get to Kimberly and Xander's... cause there was so much tension in their books... plus, I needed to know what Kim had done to make Xander hate her... and, well, we find out...👀 I rush to him but stop a small distance away, hugging his flip-flops to my chest. Then slowly, too slowly, I crouch and put them on each of his feet. The skin has turned dirty and one of them has a cut from which blood coats his small toe.

I really liked this one too, though I wouldn't say it necessarily lived up to my expectations for Cole (Aiden and Ronan are still better imo). But it's also fine because Rina didn't go the annoying usual route of OTT drama. Instead, it was more of their building relationship with a side of suspense. I guess that's one thing I actually really like about this author, is that she doesn't tend to go the typical route of manhos with a bunch of OP drama that takes away from their actual relationship, at least what I've seen so far from her. I can also tell her writing has gotten so much better from the first books in this series. There is still some repetitiveness like Silver saying "wanker" and "I hate you" over and over again which was so ANNOYING, and again with the childhood trauma and parent dramas, but this plot did feel a bit different thankfully, so it didn't bother me as much. What surprised me the most was the creepy part of this book , i'm not gonna spoiler anything but you should get ready for some pretty creepy and mind-blowing PLOT TWISTS .... since book 1, i've wanted to know what the hell is up with Kim and Xander. why is he such an asshole to her? why did he stop being friends with her, ignored her, and let others bully her?? Tears stream down his cheeks as he screams his mother’s name. His entire body shakes, but he doesn’t stop chasing her.The heroine: Silver –Neighbor to Cole and the horsemen, also used to be friends with Kim. She was cruel to both Kim and Elsa in the first few books in this series and is known as the Queen B of Royal elite.
