After just 1 week of light usage, it just started squirting random "lines" of liquid which I think completely changed how it performs on skin and clothes. I only smell the synthetic lemon when i wear this and is not that bas because i like lemon scents but the synthetic smell in the opening is not really something i enjoy.

My only personal input is that the EDP Limited Edition is definitely nicer than my black cap EDT imo, if you can even find it, as the opening is less harsh than the EDT.

And virtually always appropriate, which is part of the reason I love it so much and reach on the regular. If the opening is too strong for you, Explorer is definitely more toned down, with less performance, but it still smells great. Review Update: It has been over a month since I originally received and sprayed this fragrance for the first time.

It is also very smoky and birchy after drying down, but of better quality than the EDT of six years ago. If you wanna experience something very close to the better of the later Aventus batches that nipped at the toes of its best older batches, this one is your shot. Personally, I don't necessarily dislike it, but make sure to don't go near anyone 10 minutes after spraying it on. Bought this about 5 months ago and first I didn't like it that much, but now it's one of my favorites. The opening at club di nuit is harsher than Aventus, but when you get into the dry down, most people who pass you by will not know the difference.

Pure parfum is much more denser,compact and smokier than the newer creed batch that i have, it's very balanced with the fruits and smokiness while never becoming too smoky. For example, vanilla smells pleasant normally, but pure vanillin ethyl ether smells horrible if it's not diluted. First sprayed, it’s a bit messy, it takes a minute or two for the notes and accords to “find their place”.

I was pleasantly surprised due to others who stated that it was very citrusy and not that much smoke. super versatile, smells great, compliment magnet, and performs well in high heat, i’ve been using this as my go-to in japan where the weather is 32° and it performs surprisingly well.

That being said, don’t overspray as this could definitely overwhelm someone since the performance of the fragrance is exceptional. Someone made the decision and listened to all the comments/complaints and I thought the bottle was very heavy and everything about the vibe I got was good. People over there seem content with trends but think they started that trend when they're on the end of the trend. year ago I used it up in Marble Bar Australia 53deg Celsius temperature s and could still smell it on me at the end of the day, not so with this 2023 batch. The Synthetic quality comes in two small waves, the first 10 seconds when it is wet on your skin, and then it dries to a very slight plastic smell during the "opening/mid" phase.

It's harsh screechy and synthetic in the opening and the dry down, there's no escaping this badly mixed concoction. Aventus doesnt even go through masks, but this badboy could be smelled through a concrete wall if you spray enough. If you like the citrus top notes, want slightly more projection and like fancy packaging, I would recommend the LE. The opening of Aventus is my absolute favorite, and this is about 65% similar to to it, the biggest drawback is the “lemon pledge” smell everyone talks about in the opening.While Montblanc Explorer is more refined and feels closer to Aventus when wearing it in terms of the balance, CDNIM EDP smells closer to Aventus even if it feels further away. So the box comes in this high quality Dior like cloth they use, that is big enuff to hold the whole box. Super big compliment gatherer, and I'm serious about it, especially if you are someone younger and want to save some dollars.
