Description

Momo grew up in Italy, and his childhood was defined by the smells of tart herbs and delicate flowers that grew in the gardens of his parents and grandparents. These early impressions are also evident in some of the fragrances in the XerJoff collection. What all of the brand's fragrances have in common is that no compromises are made on the quality of the raw materials. Every single perfume of XerJoff was composed with precious and rare essences. As an example, sandalwood from Mysore is hardly used in any perfume today, as it has become very expensive due to strict export regulations. Most manufacturers therefore use Australian sandalwood or a synthetic substitute, neither of which comes close to the complex aroma of the original. Sergio Momo, however, sources only the best quality sandalwood from Mysore. This may be due in part to his father's passion for sandalwood-centric fragrances, but also to his high standards for using only the best. Notes: The top notes of Xerjoff Erba Pura are bergamot, lemon, and orange. The middle notes are fruits and the base notes are vanilla, amber, and white musk. Well... you don't seem to accept my offer. Then there'll never be a comment again. And this time I'm serious!! So enjoy this commi, because that was the last thing you ever saw or read from me here, mu ha ha ha ha ha :DD

Soo... oh yes, my title: I'll make you an offer you can't refuse. Hmm... I would say: I get a kiss from you perfumas, but I keep writing comments! Notes: The top notes of Xerjoff Casamorati 1888 are saffron, pepper, carnation, and coriander. The middle notes are ylang ylang, neroli, and rose. The base notes are birch, amber, patchouli, and sandalwood. With "Join the Club - Don" I have now found a fragrance that seems to have been created for the evil robbers ("Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten"). From the very first moment there is a lot of powder being shot. I haven't smelled this gunpowder note yet and even if it is particularly strong at the beginning, it never leaves the fragrance. I don't like it, but I think it's surprisingly well hit. If the robbers don't shoot straight, they light a small campfire, poke in the embers and let it smoke and coke. Whether they smoke a pipe at the same time is not quite clear. Anyway, they're sweating a little. Unfortunately they forgot the whisky in their house in the woods or already drank it without me. So, despite a strange beginning (which took only a few minutes) I find this fragrance very nice here. The combination of the main scents tobacco, whiskey and the amber-like sweetness smells very nice, looks soft and radiates also well, with which the smell fits very well to the going out. As the fragrance is not too overwhelming despite its autumnal scents, it could even be described as an all-rounder and in my opinion can be used in any season of the year. Best for: Xerjoff Uden is a fantastic fragrance that can be worn pretty much all year long. This fragrance has both a freshness to it, as well as a warmer side. This makes it work great in both the cold and the warm weather. There’s also really no limit to when you can wear this fragrance. It works great casually, but it works just as well in a formal setting, during both the day, as well as the night. 4. Xerjoff XJ 1861 Naxos

The house of Xerjoff is a fantastic niche fragrance house. With their beautiful scents and equally beautiful bottles, these fragrances certainly grab a lot of attention. However, there is one main downside to this fragrance house. A Xerjoff fragrance can be quite expensive.

To pay homage to the Italian art of perfumery, XerJoff bought a long-forgotten perfume manufactory: La Fabbrica di Profumi C. Casamorati. At that time, Casamorati created very refined fragrances and soaps, which were extremely appreciated among high-ranking personalities. To revive the splendor and glory of the old fragrance house, Sergio Momo created the collection "Casamorati 1888". The compositions are a tribute to Italy and are determined by flowers, herbs and fruits, which are primarily grown there. The artfully designed flacons refer to the historical past of Casamorati. Scent: Xerjoff Casamorati Mefisto is a great fragrance with a fresh, aromatic scent. This fragrance opens with a citrusy scent, supported by the note of lavender. After a while, the notes of rose and iris make themselves known, however, they are quite faint. The base of this fragrance adds some woods and amber, strengthening the fragrance. This leaves you with an overall smooth, clean, and soft fragrance that smells incredible. Truly a great fragrance from the house of Xerjoff. Best for: Xerjoff XJ 1861 Naxos is a fantastic fragrance to wear during the colder months. This fragrance is immensely strong, so you really don’t want to wear this when it’s warm outside. However, when the temperatures are lower, this fragrance is perfect. Its sweet scent has a welcoming quality to it, making it perfect for casual everyday wear. There’s also a seductiveness to it, which makes this a great nighttime fragrance, perfect for when you’re going out or going on a date. 5. Xerjoff Mefisto Scent: Xerjoff Nio is a beautiful fragrance with a very fresh and green scent of citruses. This fragrance opens with a scent of bergamot and neroli, which has a citrusy, slightly floral scent. Added to this are some green notes, giving the illusion of you sitting under a citrus tree. After a little while, some floral notes make themselves known, adding to the overall fresh and green vibe. The dry down of this fragrance takes this citrusy, green opening and adds a spicy twist to it. Overall, you’re left with an absolutely gorgeous and fresh fragrance. marmel murmel* argh, again this mob of crazy scent freaks, waiting for me to release a commi here again... *marmel grummel* ... they don't have them all anymore... *grummel grummel* ... how can you just demand that you write something almost every day?... *mumble grumble moaning ...Notes: The top notes of Xerjoff XJ 1861 Naxos are lavender, lemon, and bergamot. The middle notes are cashmeran, honey, cinnamon, and jasmine. The base notes are vanilla, tonka bean, and tobacco leaves. The bottle: There seem to be two variants of the bottle: the well-known and inflated bottle, which is somewhat reminiscent of oriental pants, and the trapezoidal square bottle. Both are blue, of high quality and look good. On the front of the inflated bottle, you can see a gold badge with the brand logo and the name of the fragrance underneath, while on the square bottle, you can see the logo of the "Join the Club" series as well as the name of the fragrance. The lid, which is reminiscent of ancient Egyptian crowns, is gold-plated and also looks good. Both bottles are very successful and great eye-catchers. Notes: The top notes of Xerjoff Uden are lemon, grapefruit, and citruses. The middle notes are sandalwood, rose, rum, and guaiac woods. The base notes are musk, ambergris, vanilla, and coffee. Ever since 2003, the house of Xerjoff has established itself as a niche fragrance house. This means that their fragrances are of higher quality and more exclusive, which you’ll definitely notice. However, this also means that they’ll cost a bit more as well. I find this combination very beautiful. Not only because I am a (casual) sports shooter and this scent brings me closer to this hobby and awakens beautiful associations. But also because a soft and warming ambience is created from whisky and tobacco. An ambience, as amber-vanilla combinations also create. But which, unlike this combination, smells of man and is definitely not unisex-suitable.

So, I hope you continue reading and are not deterred by my initial impression. Because meanwhile (so after 5-10 minutes) the smell begins to smell really good! I now smell whiskey, which now also smells very nice and can keep up with many well made scents with such notes well. I also like the sweetness very much, because on the one hand it comes across very gently and on the other hand so tasty. This seems to be molasses, but it smells like amber to me. I don't really smell gunpowder, there's only something that reminds me of it and you only really notice it if you sniff it very close to the sprayed spot, because in the scent cloud you will smell this scent less. I’d argue that Don leans masculine, but that it’s not too dark means that it feels a bit more accessible than it otherwise might be, not being quite as intense overall as, say, the first main release from Dua Fragrance, The Mobster, but with leather and some other weight to it. I really like Don for this reason, in carving out a distinction from other similarly-inspired scents. Think also of Wiseguys Vegas Cologne, quite differently a bit of a Pure Havane-esque sweet cherried and honeyed tobacco inspiration. Don lands somewhere in between—sweet, but sharp, with some edges, a little bit of depth, but not too much darkness. The house of Xerjoff is an Italian fragrance house. This niche fragrance house was created in 2003 by Sergio Momo, who wanted to create beautiful fragrances with the finest ingredients.Scent: Xerjoff Erba Pura is a gorgeous fragrance with a smooth, elegant scent of fruits. This fragrance opens with a scent of citruses, immediately introducing the fruitiness of this fragrance. After a little while, more fruity notes become apparent and the base notes start to shine through as well. Wonderful wafts of vanilla, amber, and musk, adding gorgeous scents of sweetness and warmth. The dry down, as well as the opening, are truly stunning, making for an overall gorgeous, fresh, and elegant fragrance. Best for: Xerjoff Casamoratie 1888 is a fantastic fragrance to wear during the colder seasons, like the fall and winter. This fragrance has quite a strong and warm scent, which would be a little too strong for the warmer months. However, during the colder months, it works perfectly fine. This fragrance is a great one to just wear casually, but the elegance of it also allows it to be worn formally as well. Are Xerjoff Fragrances Worth It This is also the inspiration here. The scent is not complex, no. The scent is simple. Almost as simple as the image of masculinity at the time. So it fits. Scent: Xerjoff Casamorati 1888 is a beautiful fragrance with a luxurious, warm scent. This fragrance opens quite spicy with a warm undertone. After a little while, some floral notes are added, but the spices and warmth still remain as the main star. The base of this fragrance adds some woody accords, as well as the note of amber. This provides the fragrance with a gorgeous, warm scent of spices and woods. All the while, there’s a very subtle hint of musk. Overall, a truly stunning and elegant fragrance. The "Shooting Stars" collection was launched in 2007. Sergio Momo wanted to incorporate his passion for astronomy into his perfumes and decided that each bottle would be decorated with a small piece of the Sikhote-Alin meteor that fell over Siberia on the morning of Feb. 12, 1947. The fragrances are more experimental and playful than the more classic compositions from the "XJ 17/17" collection. The bottles are numbered, as only 299 copies of each "Shooting Stars" perfume are produced each year.

There are princess scents like sand at the sea. Mostly they come in pink flacons, often decorated with ribbons and glitter. But what about perfumes for all the other fairy tale characters? The evil wolf was thought of as "Mechant Loup", but I can't think of much for the rest. Too bad, I would find such a fairy tale collection exciting. How does Rapunzel smell? The seven dwarves? Mrs. Holle? Best for: Xerjoff Erba Pura is a fantastic fragrance to wear during the spring, summer, and fall. This fragrance is on the fresher side, but the warmer, sweeter dry down also allows this fragrance to be worn when it’s a bit cooler outside. During those months, however, this fragrance can easily be worn whenever you’d like. It’s perfect for just casual wear, but it’s also elegant and sophisticated enough for formal wear as well. 3. Testimonials

I don't know now if I would spend about 180 Euro for 50 mL, because strictly speaking it doesn't smell so extraordinary, but it's still worth a test. Currently, the house of Xerjoff has a little over 110 different fragrances, created by many different master perfumers. All these fragrances are part of different collections. Some of the more popular collections from the house of Xerjoff are the ‘Casamorati 1888 Collection’ and the ‘Velvet Collection’. The Velvet Collection features some of the most stunning bottles in the perfume world, as you can see in the picture above.
