Description

His new world includes a family full of love and support and that's something he has never had before. They are done at just the right moments so that the character can develop behind the scenes without the reader feeling frustrated.

Normally the big problem with Isekai story like this one, is having a protagonist too overpowered, this in many case, create a kind of wall between any real threats that the story is trying to present to you, because you know everything will work out and that "nothing bad" can really happen, this also create an emotional detachment, giving the reader trouble imagining or even feeling the emotions that the books are trying to convey. King Grey is a remarkable ruler with a prosperous reign, and yet…opulence and success cannot bury emptiness and solitude. Although one of the weaknesses of this story was that it was rather info dumpy when it came to explaining things in the world (especially the magic system), I feel like book 1 only brushed the surface of what this world will eventually contain and that excites me!Arthur is a “genius” in this world, thanks to the memory of his past life, but he certainly can’t tell his parents that. We get to see him form bonds with multiple characters throughout this novel which I found very endearing.

This is a relatively short book, under 300 pages, but it spans 8 years for our main protagonist Arthur.Learning how to crawl becomes a humbling experience, but overcoming that challenge brings more satisfaction than when he conquered enemies as a fearsome king. There were a few minor spelling and grammar goofs, but they didn't detract from the reading experience.

This book I have read in first 4 hours (bye-bye, my sleep, the dream world of this series is much more attractive). And the magic is close enough to what he is familiar with that he becomes a magical prodigy at age three. He has to contend with parents who just think he's a genius, rather than a reborn warrior king who has all his memories. However, I will say that I am still very much intrigued and bought the 2nd ebook immediately after finishing the first book.

Worse, was the 30+ year old protagonist, who was the ruler of a modern kingdom, acting like a mature child. The way it’s written in contrived fitful plot tangents, rather than steady and structured plot development, was annoying.

Once as a baby he was trying to meditate to build his mana core, and his mother walked in thinking he crapped his diaper, which it turned out he did. Another thing the author did really well, in my humble opinion, is how he sometimes split the point of view of certain characters instead of just having the point of view from the protagonist, this help understand how supporting characters feel and make you care about them way more. I get frustrated with lack of character development, either it is the supporting or the sub-villains characters and even the main character, I don't know it is because there are still on their teenage years and puberty is still in their system. Those who don't fall in love with him instantly, admire him, and those who don't admire him, fear him. Blending elements of Western and Eastern literature, TurtleMe creates a unique and compelling reading experience that resonates with global audiences. Wir starten die Geschichte bei König Grey und bekommen gerade noch mit wie er stirbt und wiedergeboren wird als Baby Arthur. It does not look like it is going to be the most original ever or the characters are going to be specially bright by themselves. But while the first 2-3 books are fun progression lit, the author doesn't seem to get better at writing.
