On a supposedly idyllic vacation island, Seichi Kirishima and his wife Miki Kirishima are pinned down by a heavy rain somewhere in the island's interior. But this does not deter Seichi, it determined him, his decision is clear: Tonight, he will kill his wife.

This read was short and sweet with the nostalgic feels of 80's horror which I am also a big fan of. There is nothing strong about the plot and they are almost the usual tropes used in the plot of horror movies and kinda cheesy at times, but that's what makes it great! On the island of Rokkenjima, Shannon is a mere servant to the eccentric head of the Ushiromiya family, Kinzou. But Shannon has feelings for George, her master's grandson, although she is quite aware that a relationship between them would never be allowed. Try as she might, Shannon's affections for George grow stronger with each passing day, despite her attempts to deny it. One night, the Millennial Witch of Rokkenjima, Beatrice, takes pity on her: she will use her magic to help George and Shannon realize their love, if Shannon breaks a ritual mirror nearby that is dampening her powers. Eventually, Shannon relents, and to her surprise, her relationship with George begins to blossom.Starting with the review that I do not want to be extremely long, it is quite easy to summarize, the work is quite bland, you could say that the further the story progresses, the more you I had heard some decent things about this manga and since it has been a good while since I last actually read a horror manga, I was excited to jump in. However, I am sad to say, Hideout really didn't even come close to living up to the high praise I, and I'm sure others, had heard. That said, while the plot gets a thumbs up from me, the main thing Hideout has going for it is the art. It takes an extremely skilled artist to paint true terror and create landscapes and imagery that are genuinely frightening. Kakizaki is almost up there with Kentaro Miura (the author of Berserk) in the horror scenes department. Everything is marvelously shaded, detailed, and bleak, which makes the gruesome content of Hideout so much more potent than it would be with only a "good" artist working on it, as opposed to an excellent one like in this manga. Set in a gritty world of hellish design, Dorohedoro manages a healthy blend of comedy and lightheartedness with death and carnage. Taking plenty of twists and turns while following the lives of Hole's residents, it weaves a unique world of unearthly origin and dreary appearance not for the squeamish or easily disturbed.

the façade of the doting husband, his idea of ‘starting over’ is different and when his plans go wrong, things take an unexpected turn. And then begins the nightmare… somewhere deep inside a cave there is a savage beast with a craving to feed on the flesh of those who stray into the cave, having no clue of what awaits them there.

story : hideout is a short ( only one volume + 9 chapters ) horror story that is about a husband ( seiichi ) and wife trying to fix their broken down marriage ( although the wife doesn’t even care ) . all seiichi ever wanted was a small , happy family as that is something he did not have growing up . one day everything goes downhill due to his son’s death which everyone blames him for , including his wife . they decide to go on a small vacation and that is where things took a dark turn . the story wasn’t rushed , the pace was well kept and each chapter left me wanting more to find out what happens next Feeling unsettled about the future, high school student Ryouhei Arisu often escapes the reality of life. After hanging out at a bar, Arisu and his best friends, Daikichi Karube and Chouta Segawa, wait for the first train to arrive in the morning. Suddenly, a colorful array of fireworks set off in the sky, and an enormous blinding firework renders them unconscious. Wtf? I liked the concept of the manga, but I expected too much. Even though his wife was not a good person, she didn't deserve to die. It's like that movie trope of cowards never get to live in horror movies. Also, wtf? Did he kill that other poor woman and her son at the end? Wtf? framing of the characters in their surroundings throughout go above and beyond. The story structure is not its fault, but rather the indecisiveness of the character's morals. It felt like the story was trying to give us morally grey characters, a realistic portrayal of our protagonist, highlighting every character's humanity, but it throws it away every chance it gets. The ending wasn't bad because it was predictable but because it was badly written, a contradiction to what we've been showed about our protagonist's character. Don't mean to attempt to answer ever one of your questions, but as for the food and water thing, I think that's why people were going missing, and those captured people inside the cave were missing limbs and such. There body parts were being cut from them alive and eaten by the family... some gruesome imagery indeed.

To call the story cliché -ridden would be an understatement. Every single thing that happens or is revealed is so predictable that you will be able to guess what is going to happen after the second chapter (if not before that). Now, that is not always a bad thing. Shintarou Jagasaki is an average neighborhood police officer who hates his job and ordinary life. Though he acts goofy around others and plans to marry his girlfriend in the near future, Shintarou secretly fantasizes about shooting those who annoy him with a gun—much like his hero, the town's eggplant mascot, does.Simply put, the story is mediocre at best. You will see the the plot developing in a very predictable and cliched manner. It spans only a few chapters covering one volume. The length of this manga can be a good or a bad thing based on the reader, so I will leave this up to you. I am a long-time fan of the 80's American horror and how they have used practical effects to show the blood and gore that are depicted in their story which adds that "realism" factor in their movies and TV.

However, Chihiro fails to find the correct combination of ingredients to produce the solution, causing him to give up and opt to bury Baabu instead. But before he can, Chihiro becomes acquainted with the wealthy and alluring Rea Sanka, who encourages him to continue trying. And so, upon mixing the poisonous hydrangea flower with his concoction, Chihiro successfully creates the elixir. Not realizing that he succeeded, Rea attempts to put an end to her miserable and restrained life by drinking the elixir she thought would poison her. But after actually dying in a fatal accident, the elixir shows its effect, and Rea is resurrected as a zombie. Soon enough, planet Remina enters the solar system, leaving a trail of emptiness and causing worldwide panic. In an instant, popular adoration transforms into hostility; the populace have declared that the Ooguros have orchestrated this disaster and must be destroyed to avert it. Now deemed Public Enemy No. 1, Remina must escape a rabid population, all while the looming threat of the hellstar approaches. As Eyama administers his sadistic revenge and "divine" retribution, he encounters other captors, each with their own hidden agendas. Meanwhile, Aya refuses to be a compliant prisoner and will go to any length to escape captivity. However, her endeavors threaten to awaken a darkness buried inside Eyama that craves to be unleashed. The premise of the story is that married couple Seiichii, a striving novelist, and his wife Miki Kirishima

Hideout Chapter 1

Hideout (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masasumi Kakizaki. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2010, with its chapters collected in a single tankōbon volume. If you want to get the updates about latest chapters, lets create an account and add Hideout to your bookmark. With his arm now permanently coated in a mysterious material, Shintarou is told by a spectating owl that the now dead monster was once human. He was affected by a "Mad Xenopus," a frog-like creature that takes control of its host and changes its physical body. Shintarou initially ignores the creatures' existence. However, after one of them takes control of his soon-to-be wife, he decides to fight and eradicate the former humans to survive. owing to it's great art work. The character design is also well done but they may seem one dimensional. Even though I love the art work and it's style ,some panels including some major panels look like hot garbage and it is quite difficult to make out what exactly happened. This is only a small percentage of the manga though(maybe 3-4 panels).
