Gear settled for 1 Million dollars an a licensing agreement allowing for them to use the pump technology in shoes that “borrowed” design characteristics from just about every major brand of the day.Inflatable floaters are not exclusive to swimming and diving anymore as designer UV-Zhu toys with them for his conceptual shoes Reebok however would go on to follow up 1989’s basketball pump with a historic lineup of inflatable shoes across all sport categories over the years to come as well as a memorable ad campaign that put Reebok head to head with Nike.

Recently, he deconstructed and published his NIKE concept shoes and series where he layered his creations with daily objects, coupled with his inflatable structures in the art of shoemaking. His ankle straps are made from white garters and silicone and paper-based tapes.
