Description

Yes, Max Monroe's billionaire characters are a staple in his books. The most notable is "Billionaire Max," a charming and swoon-worthy character who appears in several of the series. But when we got to the end of The Secret and saw Remy stepping out of the elevator with Maria, I was delighted! I loved that the story alternated between the present and her past, giving us just enough insight to understand the connection between Maria and Remy. And your bonding guys… it was so nice!

All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate. It is worth noting that, while Max Monroe has enjoyed riding the mystery of their identity, the rumors surrounding this marketing ploy haven’t always been positive. It has been suggested that the ladies behind the Max Monroe pen name are not actually renowned bestselling authors but unknown writers that have been using this lie and the mystery it creates to garner attention. After being left down the aisle 14 years ago, Remy is a little weary of love and relationships. One night stands are fun and enjoyable, but meeting Maria again and being forced to spend the whole time in an elevator with her brings out all the feelings he thought he was turning off. Put a finger down if you’re a Max Monroe reader who has been waiting for Remy Winslow to get his own book since you read his younger sister Winnie’s book Scoring the Billionaire. Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one.

Publication Order of Standalone Novels

Yes, Max Monroe's book covers are usually quite eye-catching. They're designed to reflect the fun, romantic nature of his billionaire romance stories, making them a hit among readers. The first book in the billionaire bad boys novels tends to divide audiences. Kline doesn’t make the best hero. Physically, he seems to fit the bill. But the idea of a humble billionaire who lives in a one bedroom apartment and pursues a normal life makes little sense to readers of the romance genre. Needless to say, my current status is thorny. And no, I didn’t miss how close that word is to another one. The laugh factor is so off-the-charts, we do NOT recommend reading this book in public or next to a light-sleeping spouse or child.

It helps that the authors are such avid readers and, thus, have plenty of content to keep their conversations with fans going. Some of Max Monroe’s literary inspirations include Lauren Blakely and Erika Wilde You too? Awesome! Well, you’re going to LOVE The Redo then. Remy is everything you hoped he would be, and he finally gets his chance at forever with someone super special. Max Monroe saved Lexi’s (and my) favorite Winslow brother for last. On the one hand, you have a confident photographer that has spent her life traversing the world and capturing images of the hottest men in modern times. Max Monroe is an author of romance novels. He likes to write about successful playboys that eventually get entangled in the lives of the women they are incapable of taming, this leading to a blissful romance down the line.

Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. If you are one of those rabid fans of the Billionaire Bad Boys series, you might be surprised to learn that Max Monroe isn’t a person but, rather, a pen name for two authors. These ladies have built their career out of the mystery surrounding their identities.
