Description

I really loved this book it was inventive and creative. It had unique and new ideas and it was extremely funny also. David Walliams is at it again and after three volumes of The World’s Worst Children he turns his pen and mind to The World’s Worst Teachers. I have to say that I did very much enjoy these stories, with many reminding me of some of my worst teachers – this volume is told with Walliams usual wit and jovial brilliance, with oodles of bum and poo jokes it’s as if you’re on a school trip to the local sewage works.

[3] Awards [ edit ] Ben hates visiting his Granny every Friday night while his parents go to ballroom dancing. Then he discovers Granny isn't quite what she seems, and life takes a dramatic turn for the better.Additionally, while the humor had its moments, there were times when it felt forced and repetitive, which dampened my overall enjoyment of the book. I also felt that the resolution of the story was somewhat rushed and could have been more developed to provide a more satisfying conclusion.

He added: “He’s a good draughtsman first of all. But they’re lively, distinctive, quirky, funny, charming. Adults can see the work objectively, but kids are delighted by him. He dances before their eyes.” I’ve had a magnificent time writing this book. It is an adventure story set in London in 1899 with a cast including Queen Victoria, the Chelsea Pensioners and a Woolly Mammoth. I am thrilled to finally be sharing it with the world.” These amazing stories were illustrated by the fabulous Tony Ross, adding an extra dimension to David Walliams’ fantastic stories.

After three books on the world's worst children, David Walliams and Tony Ross bring a new collection of ten terrifying tales of the world's worst teachers - the most dreadful, gruesome and sinister teachers you could possibly come across. If you thought your teachers were bad, wait till you read about these. When a ginormous blue elephant arrives on Sam's doorstep and announces he's come to stay, Sam is very surprised The World’s Worst Teachers by David Walliams is a must have for all young readers and their families. Irreverant and charming, this is a hilarious and surprisingly touching story about secrets, love and life.

Leading the charge this winter is a mammoth of an adventure called The Ice Monster. It’s a must read for people who love Walliams other children’s books like The Midnight Gang and Gangsta Granny… So it’s a must read for everyone!

David Walliams has delighted us all with tales of children that are so horrendous, parents everywhere are thankful that their not there offspring. Now Walliams takes on the worst adults on Earth apparently - teachers. Each chapter in the book retells the terrible frightening antics of one teacher, each more horrifying than the last, but also horrendously funny. Really good book will take ages to read but at our school we have to fight over the book so im glad ive got my own I am huge fan of David Walliams’ books, I was so exited to get my hand on this book. I had high hopes for this book and as expected; it didn’t disappoint. It makes me feel a little bit scared because a boy called Alfie gets all of his teeth pulled out by a dentist called miss root who is the demon dentist.
