In the film, The Monster Book of Monsters seemed to have a belt given along with it, rather than the students all finding different methods to restrain it. Swarm. The target must make a DC 15 Charisma saving throw, with disadvantage if the target is frightened, taking 21 (4d8 + 3) psychic damage on a failed save and half as much damage on a successful one. A target reduced to 0 hit points as a result of this damage automatically stabilizes.
