Being able to use a super compact foldable stroller in-between connecting flights was incredibly useful! Folding it down is also done with the same two buttons pressed together and pushing down on the handle. What I really like about this stroller is that it has most of the essential features and yet is cheaper compared to the LuvLap Galaxy stroller mentioned above (at the time of writing this review).

Most babies will outgrow the Doona right around the one year mark—at which point you’ll need to purchase a new stroller. The stroller itself is very easy to unfold (after a little practice) and has great steering considering the smaller wheels. You may want to consider a convertible stroller right off the bat instead of registering for a single stroller and then having to purchase a double shortly after. The Silver Cross Jet 3 boasts a coordinating, fully-extendable UPF 50+ hood with an air-flow ventilation system, rear wheel brakes, front wheel suspension and is very light thanks to the aluminium frame. It did just fine on cobble stone/gravel paths and loved having the Nuna Pipa carseat attachments to push when in her carseat. It also works from the newborn stage well into toddlerhood, as it’s compatible with several different car seat brands and a pram ( Newborn Pack sold separately).

But, they make getting out of the house with your little one a lot easier, and you’ll likely use your stroller for years—so you’ll get your money’s worth. Consider using the group gift option if you plan on adding it to your baby registry so multiple gift-givers can contribute. This newer version benefits from a recline function, a sun canopy whilst still folding up incredibly compactly, making it a fully collapsible stroller.

There’s also little suspension on this stroller, and it doesn’t handle very well on rougher surfaces. While it’s possible to skip the stroller and use a baby carrier instead, many parents like the convenience of a stroller for walking, running and getting out and about with baby. The Vista is a heavy-duty stroller that takes up a decent amount of space in a trunk or a hallway, even when folded. Just like many of the strollers on our best of list, it’s packed with features you’d come to expect from a full-size stroller—a reversible, reclining seat with an adjustable leg rest, a huge canopy, a one-handed, self-standing fold and all-wheel suspension—but in a much more compact, lightweight package. BOB is a longstanding brand that earns high marks for durability, suspension and a long list of thoughtful features.

They come with an infant car seat and a stroller that easily interchange, making it seamless to move your baby from car to stroller. This direct-to-consumer brand skips the retail markups and delivers a stylish, functional and user-friendly stroller at a fraction of the cost as many high-end strollers currently on the market.

Just follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning and maintenance to keep your stroller clean and hygienic. Many infant car seats can be installed without a base, but require a seat belt instead—along with a lot of time and patience. But unlike more expensive strollers that feature rubber wheels, the Modes’ wheels are plastic, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on frequent walks on uneven terrain. The Aer+ isn’t cheap, but if you’re planning on using it for travel and for everyday, then it’s a bit easier to take.

The Vista is packed with high-end features parents love, most notably an incredible suspension system that holds up to just about anything you throw at it. We review the top 6 compact travel strollers, delve into the specifications and the pros and cons of each model. A carry on stroller can make things a lot easier for you, especially if you are in long queues and have a sleeping baby or toddler who, if like mine, fall asleep just before landing! Yes, such things do exist, and they are everything you would expect to make travel through an airport much easier with kids!

And you can swap out the seat fabric for a different color whenever you’d like, a really fun feature. The Baby Joy is a great option if you are looking for a cabin size stroller and comes with a sturdy bag for convenient carrying, making it a backpack pushchair. I love that I can change to a bassinet if she sleeps and come back when she wakes up without the need to take her off the seat. I can attach the various accessories, and I like that the sunshade goes so low that it shades my baby completely.
