An impressive longevity of 6 – 7 hours means Festival Nite will carry you through a day at college or a night at the bar. Just be aware that while it isn’t going to offend anyone, it probably won’t impress them either. Top Notes: After visiting the most frivolous fragrances, Festival Vibes for Him and Festival Party for Him, the time has come to describe this gem that wants to challenge the warriors of the night. Festival Nite presents itself as very interesting and is better than I thought. Before trying it, I thought it would be a simple boyish perfume, but it has more complexity than just the average fragrance. Wave 2 is a denser and more confused version of its predecessor that isn’t sure whether it’s a summer cologne or a manly musk bomb – and sort of fails to achieve either in the process. Free Wave comes from the same range as my ocean-beaten bottle. This range has tropical notes, but Free Wave doesn’t smell too tropical or evolve that way. Instead, it has a refreshing sensory kiss that follows a beautiful marriage of sweet and fruity notes. I’d love to try this perfume, and have smelled it in stores. Somehow, the musk doesn’t smell traditional, either. Hollister cologne is very good for this price range. While plenty of budget colognes either smell pretty synthetic or don’t last very long, the best Hollister fragrances are natural-smelling and long-lasting.

Just be aware that not all Hollister scents are created equal. Wave 2, for example, is a pretty underwhelming fragrance that is overly sweet, and doesn’t project very well at all. Which Hollister cologne smells best? The sweetness makes me think it would be a little too cloying to wear in high heat, and the subtle touch of warm spice in the dry down would have me leaning more toward coolers nights as the name suggests. Hollister shakes the world with perfumes that evolve beautifully over only two or three notes. H by Hollister targets younger girls or barely-legal feminine individuals with soft kisses of citrus and florals. The sillage is bold enough to earn recognition, but it almost feels too powdery. Hollister’s latest edition undoubtedly makes me think of a teenage girl who smells like a princess.Hollister colognes are produced in collaboration with world-renowned noses, which would explain their quality. Hollister Juice House Coconut & Lime Perfume has a coconut, sweet, lactonic, citrus, tropical, nutty, and vanilla drydown Hollister Juice House Mango & Hibiscus Perfume has a fruity, tropical, sweet, floral, and terpenic drydown Some of my favorites, like Jake and Wave, smell as though they could cost 2 or 3 times as much as they actually were, and comfortably compete with mid-range brands like Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss for me. Again, the brand designs the bottles to suit the ranges. The Wave range bottles look like they were beaten by the ocean’s aggressive tide. Sadly, my Wave perfume has about two sprays left. There are 39 Hollister fragrances in total, so plenty to explore once you’ve tried a few of the classics. Midnight Falls isn’t part of a range like Co Cal and Pure Cali. Instead, it’s a perfume in its own right. This perfume touches those beautifully classic florals that suit anyone with a traditional feminine soul. The bottle has little to look at, but the fragrance makes up for any loss. The florals have a sweet undertone to make me love it enough. They offer blends designed by master perfumers such as Gino Pecontino and Steve DeMercado- who have worked on some of the best Guess colognes. Jake is one of those fragrances that would be considered a masterpiece if it had been produced by a niche, trendy brand – for the price, this is an unbelievable offering. Just a couple of sprays will keep you emitting nicely all night. Even though Free Wave is marketed as an Eau de Toilette, I’d have guessed it was an Eau de Parfum. I’ll share why I love Hollister, including a hilarious story and the ultimate perfume every woman must try. Everyone seems to love it- especially girls. This sweet, creamy, woody blend is a hit and collects compliments wherever I go. I just can’t help but feel like this fragrance is missing something, like a stand-out note. It’s a little too generic for me. Just softly sweet with a spiced woodsy base. For a budget cologne, it’s pleasant enough – but it doesn’t stand out from the crowd enough for me.The pineapple feels like a nod to Aventus by Creed. It’s an under-utilized favorite note of mine and I’m glad to see an affordable, quality representation of it here. I love niche notes like these, and it makes Festival Vibes a real option as a signature fragrance. It’s youthful and fun-loving, but not juvenile by any stretch. Think “white t-shirt and shorts” sort of vibe- but the guy is a chiseled surfer. It’s for a man who doesn’t take himself too seriously but wants to let people know he looks after himself. He’s probably the group leader, deciding which bands to see and making sure everyone is having a good time.

Hollister is tied to a culture of beach life and surfing. They don’t focus on surfing itself, but more on the social scene and community built around it. The scent opens with a blast of coconut and melon. These watery sweet notes are delicious, and let you know this is an easy-going fragrance right from the jump. There’s also a touch of citrus in the top notes that I can’t quite place- but it’s either lemon or lime. The whole process is smooth and relaxing. Wave is all about easy-breezy good times -and keeps things relatively simple Jake is the most popular Hollister cologne. This well-balanced blend of citrus, woods, and spices is perfect for impressing girls. Few perfumes start and end with sweet or candied notes. Pure Cali is officially on my wishlist. Let’s remember that the scent only has three notes. Yet, it strikes your senses with a gorgeous evolution that makes you think it has countless notes. Meanwhile, the wake isn’t too powerful, so it works for many women.Aquatic fragrances aren’t known for their performance, but I was impressed by the lifetime of Festival Vibes. This stuff just lasts and lasts and lasts. You’ll get 8-9 hours, no problem. The combination of rugged driftwood with that decadent vanilla accord offers just the right amount of sweetness. It balances the blend in a way that’s both musky and sensual.
