Patrcik Swayze's romantic, jazzy, and adult contemporary beautifully sung She's Like the Wind, Eric Carmen's way too AOR for most music listener's but entirely captivating for us AOR lovers Hungry Eyes, Merry Clayton's ridiculously cheesy totally 80's synth-infused dance pop toe-tapper "Yes", Zappacosta's deep bluesy David Coverdale-like voice mixed in with some some fun radio friendly synths, loud glam metal-like guitars and an awesome sax solo in "Overload", Tom Johnson's best Huey Lewis and the News impression in his blue-eyed soul new wave jazzy doo-wopper, and last but certainly far from least, the iconic and probably overplayed hit if you grew up in the 80's, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes' adult contemporary/dance pop hit that goes along with one of the cutest scenes in cinema history, "(I've Had) The Time of My Life", all are original releases made specifically for the Dirty Dancing film and I love them all!
