Due to a change in production location, many of the cast from the first series departed; Jay Haher ( Zac Patterson), Sonny Muslim ( Ryan Patterson), Joe Starrs ( Peter Ingham) and Jerome Holder ( Maxy King). The building used across the second and third series, plus Tracy Beaker: The Movie of Me was The Hollies, a former nursing home on Station Road in Llanishen. No reference was made to the change in location and the children's home continued to be known as Stowey House. The Hollies now houses private offices. There’s a lot in any story about Tracy Beaker that is quite formulaic and repetitive from other stories, but that fits in to the fact that these stories are written as if they are the diary entries for a young girl in care. Lizzie McGuire, a U.S. TV series most commonly associated with the "animated thoughts/reactions" concept.

Ukrainian: Історія Трейсі Бікер, romanized: Istoriya Treysi Biker. Translated by Volodymyr Chernyshenko. Ternopil: Navchalna kniga - Bohdan. 2010. ISBN 9789661011266. Later on, Tracy met Cam Lawson, a struggling author, as there was not much activity in the Dumping Ground and Tracy was extremely excited, but was upset when Justine had to dampen her spirits and wore makeup, from Adele, to impress her, with disastrous results. Since she is an author and Tracy loves writing, she wanted to make a first good impression on her and ended up having a fight with Justine, as she provoked her, making them embarrassed as Cam watched the whole thing. Fortunately, Cam said to Tracy about how much she liked her, to which Tracy responded to thanking Cam. The details regarding My Mum Tracy Beaker were announced on 3 August 2020, where it was announced that the series would be based on the 2018 book of the same name by Tracy's creator, Jacqueline Wilson, and it was confirmed that Harmer would be reprising the role of Tracy. [4] Speaking about reprising the role of Tracy prior to filming, Harmer stated that she cannot wait to play her again, stating that she is a fan of the character herself, and she is interested to see where Tracy has ended up in life. She added that since she is a mother in real life, she knows the changes it causes to your life and personality, but confirmed that Tracy will still be the "same feisty, strong female lead that people know and love". [5] It was later hinted that other original cast members from the franchise may reprise their roles in the series. [5]Norwegian: Tracy Beaker, det er meg, lit.'Tracy Beaker, It's Me'. Tracy Beaker: Where Are The Cast Now? The Story of Tracy Beaker: Where Are The Cast Now?

I enjoyed this and thought it was good addition to the Tracy Beaker story. The other two books were childhood favourites and Jacqueline Wilson was one of the authors that first got me to read more. As always parts of it are very gritty and other parts very funny. Wilson has a brilliant way of writing about important issues for children without patronising them or making it too traumatic. As well as winning many awards for her books, including the Children’s Book of the Year, Jacqueline is a former Children’s Laureate, and in 2008 she was appointed a Dame. For other books, series and films in the Tracy Beaker franchise, see The Story of Tracy Beaker (franchise). Hungarian: Tracy Beaker története. Translated by Kata Damokos. Budapest: Animus. 2002. ISBN 9026905092.If you’ve not heard of Jacqueline Wilson’s brilliant character Tracy Beaker then I urge you to get this book now and introduce her to any girl from 7 upwards. This is Jacqueline’s first Tracy Beaker novel for quite a long time and for my daughter she says it’s as good, possibly even better than the previous Tracy Beaker’s. Serbian: Прича о Трејси Бикер, romanized: Priča o Trejsi Biker. Translated by Marija Vukosavljević. Belgrade: Odiseja. 2012. ISBN 9788677200930. Indonesian: Kisah Tracy Beaker. Translated by Yoke Octarina. Jakarta: Gramedia Pustaka Utama. 2003. ISBN 9789791060301. The pilot episode aired on 8 January 2002 and the series finale aired on 9 December 2005. The show spanned a total of five series with 120 episodes in total. Children challenge themselves with their reading skills as the lexis and syntax are by no means 'easy' but are happy to do so as the plots and characters are so engaging.
