The Tempest filter uses Evolution Aqua’s K+Media to deliver crystal clear, healthy water. Designed to be used in conjunction with any filtration system, the Tempest offers additional mechanical and biological filtration. The Tempest filter can also be used on quarantine systems or as a standalone filter on smaller ponds up to 5,000 Litres / 1,100 Gallons / 1,320 US Gallons. These Dirty Harry pre-filters provide you with an additional tool to keep your pond clean. The Dirty Harry pre-filter ensures that larger waste solids in the pond water, such as leaves, small branches and larger algae particles are collected before they are caught up in the pump or in the filter. By pre-filtering the water, you prevent larger particles from clogging up or overloading the filter.They can be used with ANY filter as long as there is water pumping through the Tempest, they are pressurised so they can go up, down…left or right. The water can be returned underwater or above water like ours are. Inlet valve closes whilst at the same time air is diverted from the outer bio chamber to the EAZY to clean the media.

The Tempest is best used with Evolution Aqua's K+Media as the filter media, meaning particles down to one micron can be filtered.
