The best part about the book was starting with a chapter that is a short biography of his mother, Dolores. A character I liked was Gary Neville. A former Manchester United player that in his later years played with Ronaldo. I liked him because he was very generous to the team but in particular Ronaldo as he was new to the squad. He was also a great player and played internationally for England. The author wants the reader to understand that you can overcome life’s struggles and preserver, if you set your mind to it and have a goal that you are working towards. The Conflicts he faced as a prospect and his family relationship is well described, for example: Ronaldo’s father who was an alcoholic and about Ronaldo’s son whom he never reveals the true mother. This book is about Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro beginning his soccer career when he was really little. He was born Feburary, 5, 1985. His mom and dad are Jose Dinis and MAria Dolores. His birthplace was Fuchal in Madeira, Portugal. He has a brother named Hugo and two sisters named Katia and Elma. His son with Cristiano Junior. We all know that Ronaldo can have attitude, can be selfish on the pitch, and often can be easily worked up and irritated. That doesn't take away from the fact of his talent and skill and sadly, the majority of this book focuses on the author's clear disgust at Ronaldo's personality and mostly ignors/does not balance the book with any praise for his good qualities (such as unrivaled work ethic, care for his family, etc...). What good qualities are mentioned, are mostly only done so in the context of "he only developed "x" quality because of a negative "y" circumstance, quality, or trait. The premise of the development of this project is bit awkward, the writer who is definitely not a fan of Cristiano has made some ugly remarks about the player in a book about Messi(which i found unnecessary) and had to face the consequences and eventually had to take up the project of writing about the player. Ma non riesco a immaginare una vita senza allenamenti, senza il campo, senza una partita, senza l’adrenalina e l’eccitazione della competizioneRonaldo is still currently playing for Real Madrid and playing better than ever with one of the best teams in the world.

I enjoyed this book because I was able to relate to a lot to what was going on as I play football myself like Ronaldo. I think there was a lot of very interesting knowledge on Ronaldo that without reading this book I would have never gained. Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the best player of his generation. As the world's all-time goalscorer and a five-time Ballon d'Or winner, he has cemented himself in the history books. And plenty of other books too! There is no shortage of books about Cristiano Ronaldo. The main reason why I started reading this book is because Ronaldo is one of my favorite soccer players. He has so much technique and skill. He started to play at an acadamy when he was only 7 years old. The begining of the book and description of Ronaldo's upbringing was outstanding. I will give it that. There is clearly a meticulously researched look into Ronaldo's begining's and what he came from which broadly informs on his attitudes, good and bad, later in life. This book is informative and the first half of the or three fourth of the book tells the story of how a boy from Madeira, dreamed of becoming a footballer made it to the top league and eventually became the G.O.A.T(although the writer didn't mention it). Menality -> to be the best in the world, learning -> willingness to learn, emotions -> leave aside, and obsession -> think about it day and night. Despite the early conclusion of a hard worker who dreamed to be the best, the author cant hide his hate towards the player that whenever his opinion counts, he portrayed him as egoistic self centered man, i couldn't agree to his interpretation of the acts of Ronaldo on the day of Euro final, the author portrayed him as a spotlight stealer from the "coach" which is absolutely ridiculous way to end the book. Any football lover who has seen the final would've felt sorry for Cristiano irrespective of the way they see him. All in all it was a nice read, not much of the book was new to me as I'm a big football fan and already knew much about Ronaldo's life and career as a professional footballer. Inoltre fra queste pagine troveremo anche interessanti interventi fatti da psicologi famosi, pronti a spiegare i comportamenti più inconsueti del campione che lo hanno contraddistinto e reso tale in tutti questi anni.

Cristiano Ronaldo è un campione fenomenale, una macchina da gol strepitosa, un professionista che ha saputo costruire la sua immagine in maniera impeccabile. In questa biografia però conosceremo anche il lato umano di questo instancabile ragazzo, una persona fragile, generosa, emotiva e che ha sofferto tanto il distacco dalla famiglia e della mancanza del padre. The author's writing style is very beautiful. In the book, he gives many quotes said directly from Cristiano Ronaldo. The author views him unlike any other author every has. At one point, he views him as a great soccer player but then in another light the author views Ronaldo as an egotistical person. His writing is never confusing as he describes everything little detail with grace. The author does an incredible job of showing Ronaldo's internal thoughts and his external actions. The style was very beautiful as it urged my to read more.
