Description

The Aquilla matches the above Hellblaster. The Blood Drop relic has been changed and has also switched sides. The Left Shoulderpad features more ornamentation and is fully gold whilst featuring a campaign emblem sheild. As I walked into Warhammer Chesterfield last week, there were as many Gold Label Warhammer models available as there was everything else (on day of release). Maybe the leak got the names wrong, but a big me this is;t. Warhammer McFarlane Big Mek Artists Proof Again with the improperly proportioned Aquilla, not that I expected this to be different to the painted version – this is now standard going forward.

Finally, the body now has sculpted battle damage on the surface, on the knees at least. It’s hard to see in the image above as they are sculpted in but not accented with any paint to emphasize the armour distress. But you can see it more clearly on the Artist’s Proof version below. McFarlane Space Marine Hellblaster – Artists Proof Once again, not as hulking or armour-clad as your tabletop Meganobz, but as they are a rank & file model, I’m not too fussed. they look good. The BigMek is a trash-beast of a model when compared to your standard infantry, the throw-together Space Marine suit.Want to learn more about painting your own figure? Learn the basics of brush care, setting up your area, thinning your paints and more with the Warhammer Community When it comes to painting your models, the Artists proof versions matter very little. You can paint an already painted model just as easily. McFarlane Warhammer Figures – Gold Label Collection With so many Factions available across the 40k ecosystem, I’m sure that absolutely nobody was looking at this range screaming, we want more Necron action figures.

My heartfelt opinion at this stage is “meh”, but again, I’m going to buy them all anyway and so are many of you. McFarlane Warhammer Figures – Wave 4 Here’s the Primaris Ultramarine Assault Intecessor and his components. Please agree with me that you would have preferred a stand which is more in scale with the bases we are used to?

Several of the models (detailed below) come with Artists Prood variants – this essentially means it’s the same as another model but is unpainted and delivered to you in primer (colour) plain grey plastic allowing you to add your own design as you see fit. The Body sculpt is identical to the model used in Series 1. Just with the hands swapped out, the skin bits added and a spikey spine. All of the surface battle damage is identical to last years model. McFarlane Necron Flayed One – Artists Proof That is literally the only difference on this box vs the McFarlane Adepta Sororitas Battle Sister. Seriously, even the barcode is the same. And now comes the time when I explain how you can get this variant. Imperial observers have likened the fire of a Hellblaster Squad to the incinerating power of a stellar flare. Bolt after bolt of plasma sears across the battlefield; those caught in the Hellblasters’ sights are swiftly annihilated, their armor blasted to ash and their flesh and bone to glowing motes. Even armored fighting vehicles are swiftly reduced to heaps of metallic slag. Deployed at the correct point and time, a single Hellblaster Squad can blunt the thundering assault of an armored spearhead or lay low even the most titanic alien fiend. As for posing, we’ve lost some dynamicism here when compared to the Primaris model. It looks like to can pose him with a narrow or wide stance, Gaus Flayer Pointing up or down. and turn the head a bit.

If you serve the will of the Hive Mind, there’s no better way to prove it than with this fearsome Genestealer action figure. It comes pre-painted in the colours of Hive Fleet Leviathan, and this beastie looks ready to tear anything in its way to pieces. Ymgarl Genestealer – Artist’s Proof

Movie Maniacs

Identical to the model above in regard to loadout, but this model removes the Blood Angel Insignia from the shoulder pad along with replacing the chest Aquila with the one from the Wave 1 Ultramarine sculpt. I think I’d really have liked to see this have a swappable head, one with an actual face. But hey, maybe that’s just me? McFarlane Gold Label Blood Angel’s Lieutenant Right so, below we detail the specific models you get in each wave of the Mcfarlane Series. McFarlane Warhammer Figures – Wave 1 McFarlane Toys – Ultramarines Primaris Assault Intercessor When adding chipping to one of the painted decal areas like the shield, shoulder, or knee, I applied the same ‘dry sponge’ method, but instead of Rhinox Hide I used some Macragge Blue , as this is the colour of the base plastic and will give the effect of exposed ceramite under the decal.
