Better Days” gave me “Hereditary”/”Kody Blu 31” vibes. Strong instrumental and hook, jazz-y and peak storytelling. I didn’t expect the R&B-y Johnta Austin feature but it actually made the song a lot better. Still, JID was owning the song.
