An English comic creator, animator, designer, illustrator, and director, best known as the co-creator of the comic book Tank Girl with Alan Martin and co-creator of the virtual band Gorillaz, alongside Blur front man Damon Albarn. The whopping book stands at almost 13 inches tall and displays art, printed and bound in Italy, over 288 pages.

An artbook showing the evolution of the Gorillaz along with interviews/narrative etc would be great although I guess that might be too mainstream for them. I have bought so many great art books over the years and I just can't help but feel that this doesn't quite cut it.To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Gorillaz’ eponymous debut album, the band’s co-creator and artist Jamie Hewlett has teamed up with Z2 Comics to release The Gorillaz Art Book in April 2022. The weird feeling that you get is that by trying to be an annual, the likes of which us Brits might have picked up in WHSmith in the 1980s, it's trying to be slightly edgy and cool. The Gorillaz Art Book by Gorillaz, Jamie Hewlett, Z2 Comics

Tara Billinger, the creator of Long Gone Gulch and the character designer for the Mickey Mouse Shorts W TV series.
