Memory Man was a wonderful book with lots of twists and turns, so naturally I had to read the series. When Long Shadows was finally released, I bought the book immediately and couldn't wait to read it. In this guide, we wanted to give you an overview of each of the books in the series, so here we go:

It was while in high school that Baldacci began writing seriously, which continued throughout college and law school. As a lawyer he wrote in whatever spare moments he could find, frequently in the evenings and early mornings. Baldacci's stories often feature complex conspiracies, but he goes a bit overboard in this book. It's hard to believe one town could harbor this many diverse cabals. That said, this is an engaging thriller with interesting people, plenty of action, and characters from two of Baldacci's series. Maybe it's the beginning of a trend.

How to Read the Amos Decker Books in Order?

The authorities use them in the dark, without explaining why the identity of the victim is so important, but they provide additional help and support for the heavy artillery of other through-the-line heroes of Boldacci - agent Will Robey and his partner. The confession has the potential to make Melvin Mars — guilty or not — a free man. Who wants Mars out of prison? And why now? Robie's partner Jessica Reel and their CIA handler, the Blue Man, also show up - proving that the treachery in London goes WAY beyond Irene Cramer's homicide. Review of the Grand Central Publishing audiobook edition (October 11, 2022) released simultaneously with the Grand Central Publishing hardcover.

Amos knows something doesn't add up. The judge was stabbed to death and the bodyguard was shot instead. Are there two killers?

What is the Amos Decker (the Memory Man) series about?

As a result, he leaves town while under the radar and then heads off to New York City till when he finds out more details about his failed mission as well as the possibility that he might become the next target.

Suspect - Liz Southern & Walt Southern - funeral home owners (are taking jewelry from bodies before the casket is sealed). Walt Southern’s “Suicide note” is found when killed, but is it written by someone else?? As they begin to investigate, they are caught up in something that might put them in the crosshairs of something completely unexpected that could result in them being the next target. Liz Southern(funeral home owner) & Caroline Dawson had “secret” love relationship? They planned an “escape” to Canada? With all this in mind he is being sent to Florida and his usual partner in crime Alex Jamison has been transferred, he now has to deal with another partner Frederica White “aka Freddie” which means change which he hates. The drama never stops in a David Baldacci book and walk The Wire is no exception. It really is a brilliant series and long time fans of David's are in for a treat with some familiar faces making an appearance in this book. High recommend you start at the beginning with Amos, you need to truly understand him as a man. David Baldacci was born and raised in Virginia, where he still lives with his family.
