g. Friends, Seinfeld, Boston Legal, Ally McBeal) and family-sitcoms (ELR, King of Queens), I would place ELR on the very top of the latter list. The exclusive extra included in the Everybody Loves Raymond: The Complete Series collection is a copy of the season finale script.

Even though Ray Romano is the star and very funny it's the supporting cast (Brad Garrett, Peter Doyle, Doris Roberts) which separates this from other great sitcoms. Everybody Loves Raymond: The Complete Series is packaged in a custom box that contains all nine seasons with two-hundred and ten episodes on forty-four DVDs. It depicts families as dissolute yet inextricably bound together, just like they really are, and finds the humor in those real frictions that threaten, yet never manage, to burst family units apart. Also, despite his tough appearance, he appears to be more sensitive, affectionate, tender and open to sharing his emotions compared to the rest of his family. Explained TV critic Jones Ostrow, Raymond "explored the tortuous/loving relationships of parents and adult children, of couples, of siblings and the Peter Pan syndrome that attaches to baby boomer males, sports nuts in particular. Being a HUUUUGE fan of Frank Barone, and almost every character on the show, I gotta recommend this show for anyone who appreciates sitcoms set in (a)typical American home environment, because I'm sure that almost everyone will be able to find some parallels with his/her own life while watching it. This complete series collection has the show's entire nine seasons, which is made up of two-hundred and ten episodes.

While I love this show to death, the only difference between the complete series collection and the individual sets (packaging withstanding) is the season finale script booklet. When Robert gives Ray and Debra an IQ test as part of his assignment for his criminal psychology class, the results incite subtle competition between them. Previous prime-time television series set in Long Island, such as The Hamptons (1983) and The Pruitts of Southampton (1966–67), never went beyond one season. It revisits the plotline developed in the previous season: Debra and Marie no longer speaking to each other. Beleaguered, diffident and dryly sarcastic, Ray takes few things seriously, making jokes in nearly every situation, no matter how troubling or serious.

The cast members were Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, Peter Boyle, Madylin Sweeten, and Monica Horan. This series follows the relationships between three closeknit generations who happen to live a little too close for comfort. His jealous brother Robert (Brad Garrett) and meddling parents Marie (Doris Roberts) and Frank (Peter Boyle) live across the street from him and give him little peace. All episodes were available on Netflix for streaming until September 1, 2016, also the date Exporting Raymond was taken off the platform. The remainder of this review will consist of a review of the complete series collection packaging, exclusive extra (the script), summary reviews of each season with an overview of the bonus features, audio/video details, and concluding thoughts.

When one of the fish dies, Frank goes into a serious depression, which Ray attributes to his dad facing his own mortality. Everybody Loves Raymond has a wonderful cast that remains strong throughout the show's nine season run. The show reruns in syndication on various channels, such as TBS and TV Land, AMC until 2023, and in most television markets on local stations. Television (WBIT distributes the series outside the US in conjunction with HBO; while HBO Home Entertainment and Warner Home Video own DVD rights worldwide). It has been nominated and awarded for its writing, lead and supporting acting performances, and being an all-around strong comedy series from Emmy Awards to Screen Actors Guild. It's also one of those comedies that you can rewatch as many times as you want and it'll still make you laugh.

As for his parents, Frank his brilliant, but his mother is a controlling, manipulative and nosey old bat who also keeps trying to guilt trip people, she can also be creepy. It comes in a nice, custom packaging that provides a smaller, compact solution than the individual season sets.

Audio Commentaries are included for episodes "The Home" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Tucker Cawley, and Jeremy Stevens, "Not So Fast" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Tom Caltabiano, and Mike Royce, "Debra's Parents" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Katherine Helmond, and Robert Culp, "A Date For Peter" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, and Chris Elliott, "The Faux Pas" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Tucker Cawley, Lew Schneider, and Jeremy Stevens, "Pat's Secret" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Georgia Engle Tom Caltabiano, and Mike Royce, and "Finale" with Ray Romano, Phil Rosenthal, Tom Caltabiano, Mike Royce, Aaron Shure, and Steve Skrovan. Letterman's involvement with Raymond amounted to nothing more than a meeting where he signed Rosenthal's show-runner contract and told him, "just don't embarrass us. In 2009, series creator/producer Philip Rosenthal traveled to Russia to adapt the show for local audiences.
