Description

The more time you have spent in spirit form, the more difficulty you may find being in a human body. Many of us have incarnated on other planets where third-dimensional laws just don't exist. This is one reason why we may feel heavy, uncomfortable and trapped in our physical bodies, using food and other substances to keep ourselves grounded.' I’m not sure how to put into words how this book effected me. It was one that I restarted so many times and each time I saw something different to myself. I was even able to see how I’ve grown especially since it took me a few months to finish it. Full of tools, contemplative questions, rituals and exercises, Rise Sister Rise will inspire you to listen to your intuition and act on it, to gather the courage to be seen and heard, to know your worth, and to heal the world around you by first healing yourself.

Rise Sister Rise in short Hi everyone – today I’m sharing my Rebecca Campbell Rise Sister Rise review. It’s a beautiful, feminine book that I think many of you will enjoy and resonate with, as I did. Rebecca is a ray of light, a refreshing soul. Her gift is evident. She is a role model for women, guiding us to embrace our power and awaken our authentic selves.’ Rebecca Campbell is a grounded devotional spiritual teacher and messenger here to awaken and call in a new age. Her book Rise Sister Riseis a call to arms for women to remember their intuitive nature, unleash their potent power, and lead from the feminine.’ My gosh! It was incredibly difficult reading through my favourite quotes for this book and choosing just 5 to share with you. So much of what is written in this book touches my heart, soul and bones. Here are my top 5 quotes:It is for those who agreed at soul level to be here at this stage in history to lead this global shift that the mystics of all of the ages have the return of the mother and the rise of the feminine.

Initially I thought this book was going to be a bit light - but the more I read the more I enjoyed it. There's lots of stuff here about embodying what you do - how unless you love what you do you will never be a success, and how if you do love and embody what you do then it will all just come naturally. Many women have spent their lives trying to succeed by “making it” in a man’s world. But things are changing – more and more women are realizing that this way of being is no longer sustainable. We are experiencing a global shift that mystics through the ages have predicted: the return of the mother and the rise of the sacred feminine. As women we have had to fight for so much, let’s not add another mountain to climb by having to rise from each other too. Before you attempt to cut another down, no matter how much you disagree, first take a moment and see if you can see a woman, who in her own unique way, is doing her best to find the courage to rise. Let’s stop pushing our fellow sisters down no matter how much you agree or disagree with the way they are doing it.” Features within the Book As mentioned above, if you feel you’ve fallen out of flow with yourself, then you may benefit from this book. You don’t need to be of specific faith to enjoy this book. You do need to have an open mind, especially with Rebecca mentioning “witches” and “Magdalene’s” which can be frowned upon. Good girls’ go through life pushing down rage, pushing down desire, pushing down shame, pushing down anger, pushing down the shadow, pushing down so much of the natural, wonderful, pleasurable, passionate, potent, and powerful parts of being a woman. When we are doing all we can to keep all of that contained, it’s no wonder we may find ourselves having ‘bitchy’ or even so called ‘whore-like’ outbursts. It is not possible to be the good girl all the time. It’s not healthy either. When we attempt to do so we cut ourselves off from the potent power of being a woman. The world needs more women, and fewer women as little girls.”

REBECCA'S BOOKS

It's not your job to change anyone. There is nothing more annoying than someone who is pushing their spirituality, consciousness, opinions or anything else for that matter on another without invitation. It doesn't matter if it's meditation, yoga, past lives, working with your chakras, raising your vibration, your choice to be a vegetarian, or the power of prayer. Do not give spirituality s bad name by spreading the good news or pushing your beliefs on another without invitation. This is what patriarchy has been about: 'Do as I say', 'Obey', 'This is the only way', 'Follow the leader '... We've had enough of that. That was my problem with this whole book. I enjoy reading about ways to open the mind and connect with the soul, but this just took things way too far for me. It's also kind of negative?? It always starts with, 'we are all doing X terrible thing so instead we need to do this other good thing.' It comes across as very superior. Rebecca and everything she shares is poetic, light-laden, and soul fuelled. She’s a beacon and a heart-led guide for all who know that it is our time to rise.’
