Description

Airbrush your Warhammer miniatures with the right equipment from our list of the best airbrushes, compressors, and accessories out there! We are happy to tell you that the response has been epic, and we are confident your customers will love it.

The small paint reservoir (that is upgradable) means I waste way less paint than before and keeps the pot fresher with fewer clogs. It is also adjustable, but all I have ever used on it is the .02 mm fine line nozzle that has had no issues with any paint I have loaded into it as long as it was accompanied by a little Vallejo flow improver per the norm. Generally, with smaller compressors, after using them for extended periods of time, we have had to point a fan at them; with this, you shouldn’t have to! What airbrush or airbrushes do you like the best for miniatures or Warhammer? What did you start with? Great choice to start with! High quality airbrush for an affordable price. Same self-centering nozzle used on the higher rank models (exchangeable with Evolution, Grafo, Infinity).

Harder & Steenbeck Ultra Airbrush Range

The chromed paint cups are a 'plug in' type, fitting directly into the opening in the top of the body, allowing unrestricted paint feed, and simple fitting / removal and cleaning. First, I practised operating the trigger, from 'fine' to 'full' travel, with just air, before loading the 5ml paint cup with neat thinners, and 'getting the feel' of the balance, and the trigger when spraying. The H&S 'Ultra' is available as the 'Ultra X', which is a suction feed, double action instrument, or as the direct gravity feed, double action 'Ultra', available as the 'Ultra Solo', with 0.2mm nozzle and 2ml paint cup, or as the 'Ultra Two in One', which is supplied with the 0.2mm nozzle / needle, and an additional 0.4mm nozzle and needle, and additional 5ml paint cup, therefore allowing more flexibility in paint coverage, from very fine lines to wider area coverage., along with the option of larger paint capacity.

This multi-purpose, high-paint-flow, high-detail Eclipse Series airbrush covers a wide range of uses. Commonly used to spray premixed or heavier paints, it is well suited for uses demanding precise control of spray when applying moderate-to-large amounts of paint to a variety of surfaces and to various-sized areas. This Eclipse Series brush has established a new benchmark for excellence in an all-purpose airbrush. The new Model 105-1 “Patriot” is a dual-action gravity feed airbrush; set includes an extra tip and instruction manual. Generous 1/3 oz. sized cup is designed with a new funnel shape, which makes for easy cleanup and more efficient paint flow Watch our painting process video to see how you can start airbrushing, and have a beautifully primed, based and highlighted piece within your first airbrushing session EVER, thanks to the engineered solutions specifically aimed at your first sessions. We won’t detail the features here, as they are better explained by watching our paint process video – this is a follow-along for your first painting session with us! New design of 5ml cup – reshaped internally for easier cleaning and larger capacity in a smaller shape

When you have a full army of Warhammer miniatures to paint or some huge models to work on, using any one of these airbrushes will help. Changing from one needle / nozzle combination to another is very easy & requires no tools, a needle / nozzle storage tube is included for the set not in use. We recommend any single piston compressor capable of running an airbrush up to approximately 25psi – there are many options available and we’re happy to recommend the Sparmax brand of compressors to you – no doubt available locally, and also from us within Europe. Airbrushes have started catching on for the Warhammer hobby, so here are all our favorites that we recommend to anyone looking to get started using them for painting any miniatures! #5 Iwata HP-CS:

Overall it’s a robust airbrush with average-quality internal components that you really have to stay on top of to keep clean after every use. The advantage of the Iwata is that most hobbyists use it, and the parts are readily accessible. The cons are that it is not quite as forgiving as some of the airbrushes below, it’s a bit clunkier, and harder to maintain overall for the casual painter. Yes, I've had similar experience with every brush I've used, and it's relatively common to most, if not all airbrushes of this type, even the most expensive. I'm new to airbrushing and after doing a ton of research decided to go with the Ultra as my first airbrush. This brush does it all, from priming to details I'm having a blast painting my minis with this airbrush and I imagine it will carry me for a while. The pics below show the 'Ultra 2 in 1' kit, key parts of the airbrush and some test spraying results as mentioned above. While this is a little more expensive, we use the bigger version, which works great! Plus, with the extra fan, it should really help.
