All 7 dolls, designed by Robert Best, were described as images of iconic Star Wars looks and characters put through a high-fashion Barbie filter. The dolls aren't actually supposed to be the characters themselves but rather Barbie dolls wearing Star Wars inspired fashion. Two waves of dolls were released, 3 in the first wave and 4 in the second wave.
